Expertscolumn for sale-no need to worry,says the still current owner

What seemed to be just a rumor is now reality-Expertscolumn,the highest paying article writing site,will be sold by its owner and creator because he wants to focus on other projects.However,after the initial shock many EC writers had when hearing about this unexpected transaction,it looks like things are not as bleak as they seemed when I first heard the news;from an article posted by one EC writer which sent an email to the owner and administrator of Expertscolumn asking for clarifications,we find out that the site will only be sold to the person or organization which agrees to continue with the site in the similar fashion as it was managed until now,and EC writers don't need to worry because their contents are safe and the activity of the site will continue as usual.Do you really believe that there are no reasons to worry for EC writers?What do you think about the future of this wonderful site?

I am also a member of that site , I cannot believe they selling.
They pay the best rate , I cannot believe he would sell it after they gave it a face lift the other day . I hope my articles are ok

I guess they gave the facelift to the site exactly for that purpose,to make it more attractive for the possible buyers.I think our articles will be ok,we just have to wait and see what the new owner will do.

I have heard a lot about Expertscolumn from many mylotters but have not had the time to join.
Whenever a business or site is sold to another, the employees or writers will have concerns. Expertscolumn must be doing well in that the current owner has put it up for sale. He / she has not closed the site.
I would take a wait and see attitude if I were you. What else can you do? I would imagine that in time, the new owner will make changes but it might be some time before that happens. And if and when changes are made, maybe it will be for the best.
What are your concerns?

Of course there's nothing else I can do but wait and see what changes will be made by the new owner.My biggest concern is that the paying rate will drop,and if that happens and EC will pay as 'well' as Triond,I will simply quit it.That's just an assumption for the moment,I hope it won't become a sad reality.

Speaking of Triond, I am on Triond. I like the site except for the low rate of pay. Many writers have left Triond because of its pay rate. In fact, many went to Expertscolumn and that is why and how I was hearing so much about Expertscolumn. I read that you can re-publish your Triond articles on Expertscolumn.
I guess that I will hold off joining Expertscolumn until I see what happens with the site.

We don't know what his other projects are,but it's clear that he will sell the site,but if the new owner respects that agreement,as he claims,we shouldn't worry about our articles,the site will go on as it has so far.All I can do now is hope that he's right.

I guess we will just have to hold our breathe and wait. I use EC for some much needed extra money and I would be very upset to see it go downhill. Its a great site to write for and the best there is out there.

Yes,there's nothing we can do right now but wait and hope this amazing site will survive and even improve under the new ownership.It is indeed the best of its kind and I don't even want think that it might disappear,so I'm trying to remain optimistic about its future.
