finally, after the deadline, one of EPL Legend, Michael Owen choose his next destination..
He chooses Stoke City after he have no club since last January..
Many speculations about his coming back to anfield..
But he choose Stoke City..
One of the good legend in soocer world, Michael Owen..
The world began to know him because of his good performance in Liverpool..
One of the best in his time..
And it brings him to be the best player in 2001..
And the public began to more know him when he makes a wonderful goals in World cup 1998...His running is very fast and he can beat the experienced Argentina defender like Roberto Ayala, Jose Chamot..One of the best goal in 1998 world cup even England is lost from Argentina..
His career began to stop when he didn`t get his best time in Madrid..One of his wrong decision i think..
He ever become Newcastle United but he can`t help Newcastle from relegation..MU maybe try to make Owen become the real Owen, but Owen is still difficult to get his best performance like he is still in Liverpool..
Now he make a new adventure in Stoke City..
can he get back to his great performance several years old?? or maybe this is his last club before he say goodbye to football??

in very close to his end of journey in football, finally he find a place to land in stoke. After rumoured to join his former club but he choose stoke city for his destination.
I still remember how this young kids break england national team records as the youngest player and youngest goalscorer. And still in my mind how he scored fantastic goal against argentina in world cup. But his career are not as all of us expected his performance drastically down after hit by injury several time. Liverpool should thank to him for his best contribution for the clubs.
And i do hope he can do the best for stoke as long as he not injured, i think he still one of dangerous forward in brittain.

I would be very interested in seeing how Owen fits into the team. It would be like Lilliput in the town of Gullivers. :) Stoke likes to play the physical game and Owen with his injury history is anything but physical. So I would be interested in seeing how the team shapes up around him.
Cheers!

Michael Owen has finally seen the light and joined the fantastic Stoke City. If he stays injury free, a big if, then he will form a fantastic partnership with Peter Crouch terrorising clubs in the Premier league. Well, hopefully anyway.

All due respect to Stoke, but this clearly shows how far Owen has fallen. Liverpool, Real Madrid and Man Utd and now Stoke. Owen game is based on pace and that ability allow him to get clear from the defender. His series of hamstring injuries make sure that he has lost that ability. However, Owen had not changed his game to fit his physical conditions now. I think it would be good for him to finally accept that he was no longer the player he was and move to the lower leagues to extend his playing career.

Owen was really great only at the start of his career, and he lived from the hype created around him. After his first 3-4 years he started to decrease in form and never got back as a real footballer. He was given many chances to start over, but never took those chances. I don't think he will do a great job at Stoke, but he will score a decent number of goals.

I am sure that he will be useful for Stoke, but I don't think he will explode. He will never be the same Owen he was at the beginning of his career, when he amazed the world at WC 1998. But he has some nice skills, he has scored goals which were amazing.

Yes, Stoke City managed to take Owen to their stadium to strengthen his team. Owen who is a free agent, previously rumored to be re-strengthen Liverpool, but eventually Owen to play at Stoke City. Is this good for Stoke or not, we'll see. Because I think Owen is almost Expires.
