Hi dear mylotters!
Since I'm done with my exam today, I would like to discuss this.
When I'm high school all of my subjects schedules are fixed each day, alot of activies we did like Intramurals, aquaintance party, holloween and many more, since the schedules are fixed in every day the time I suppose to go home is the same which 5 pm.
Now I'm in college there are few that changed about the schedules, Some I going home around 7-8 pm and we also have classes until Saturday, so my rest is only in Sunday but this day I have to laudry my uniforms for the whole week. But the thing I like about my college is I can go home already if the exams are already finished, like now I'm here at the fast food chain waiting for the staff of the mall open hahaha.
But I think it is more fun when I was high school days.. I have a lot of time to have bonding with my family and friends... Even though I'm only 1st year in college and there are still many good things to happen...
WHAT do you think should I expect in college?
Base on what you have experienced, what do you think is more fun when your high school days or in your college day?
Happy mylotting! :)
(sorry for my english)

I'd choose college over high school. Over my high school years, I was kind of a nerd back then. I was a quiet, innocent, and a honor roll student. I have to keep up with my studies to maintain being a honor student. I don't even really participate much in sports activities though I've been to cheering in my first year high school. I was only in the news paper team and I have my teeth braces too. I really find it funny to look how lame I was in my high school. My only routine everyday is school and home. I don't go out with my friends. But in college, I learned to have fun while maintaining my school. I became really friendly to everyone and have a lot of friends to hang out with. College is more busy and requires more responsibility but I was more free with it. I can dress without my uniform, attend parties, and have fun in my class. I manage my own schedules in college and can sleep in between my classes. Maybe I just so much to reminisce in college than in my high school. It is where I began to grow up and mature. It was a turning point for me.

Now i am missing those happy days and i can never forget those days.It is very difficult to forget both school and college days.I enjoyed both in colleges and school. There is more freedom being in college though, more opportunity to meet new people and do new things, and learn new thing. The atmosphere in college is entirely different from that of a school. There is no one to control us in our college. If we enjoy fully in college it will spoil our future. It is a important turning point in our life.If we do not concentrate in our studies,in future we have to suffer a lot.

Yeah miss my life when I was in HS, in college you have freedom and also you will learn to be independent but there are many changes in my college alot of adjustment to do, you are right! I have few classmate spoil their freedom, sometime they didn't attend in some classes the result is they got a failing grades, they didn't know how their parents have work for their tuition fees. :(

I could not compare the two since I both have different experiences on how I deal with time and the way I learn my lesson. In HS, the study is more like that in a box where everybody else also learn the same thing. But in College you have more freedom to choose which subjects you want to study and time is more flexible than in HS. But then HS was more carefree with friends than in College we tend to enjoy more of our student life there as in College we tend to be more focus on our studies.
Both have different stories to keep and cherish.

I just imagine when the graduation came and the last thing to do is to review and take the board exam.. after my hard working I will become nurse in the future. :)

Honestly, I have more fun in high school! I joined a lot of extra curricular activities! I am also active during my high school, I ran for SSG president and fortunately I won the heart of the studentry! So it's a big break for me, to lead them lol. During college, although, life is getting serious and intimate for some matters, but I still miss my high school days. College is about serious matters, so we need to deal it with consciousness. And in addition, if you work at the same time to cover up your expenses for boarding house/apartment, fares, foods and even tuition fees, you would wish upon a star how better to just turn the time back! Nice topic and happy mylotting!

Wow! That is great opportunity to lead your fellow schoolmates but you had a lot of responsibilities during that day, Isn't it? Haha you are right, One that I really miss is when you are doing for the extra curricular, I'm a band member of our school, I miss to compete to other campuses...
I am from province, I went to city for my college and like you, we also pay for the house and everyday fare since the house is still far from my school, I usually spend 81 php for my fare only my lunch is still not include... Haha, and I really need to wake up earlier because I need to travel almost 1 hour before get to school.

well, for me i like school life with more activities. though, when i am in college, the extra curricular activities is lesser and this give me a lot of time to relax and not become so busy and have plenty of time. while in high school, i am very busy and felt so tired. though, i still feel happy. in terms o happiness the more memories i think of is high school life is very unforgettable to em and meaningful. this is the start where i feel so young, and curious to explore the world around me. that mean, my life s just starting and never get half way. i enjoy all those teenage stuffs, crushes, fads, fashion and accessory. while n college, i tend to get a serious attitude with my study as the tuition s high, i need to make sure i never flunk any subjects. the only pressure i feel when i am doing my theses for a limited time. that the time i feel so stress.

I think that many would agree that high school life is the best years of our lives. It is the most memorable years because we had so much fun being with our friends, going to parties and enjoying a lot of activities. And of course, this is also the time when we had our first crush and first love.

i like school life , because, school days are tension fee days, no tension for career, or anything else, only go to school study, enjoy with friends, and family and only enjoyment no tensions at all, but in college even though we have lot to enjoy , we have lot of tensions too about career, and everything else.

I think I enjoyed both high school and college years but during the college years, I found it more interesting because I already have a clearer vision of what is happening around. I've also learned to go along with different people because I have different classmates in different subjects.
During your first year, well, the topics are just a sort of review of what you have learned during high school. You will have to be more specific on your field of specialization during your second year.
Just enjoy life! That's what I could share perhaps. Do your part as your are expected to do it and enjoy!

Well there are also happy moments especially when your new classmates will come from different places, have different accents, have different languages, like I, I have classmates from Iran, Korea, and from diffent local provinces here in the Philippines, sometimes I just laugh because we can't understand each other, but it is fun, you will enjoy your stay in college when your course suits you and if you are enjoying the course you are taking, but you will miss your friends that truly with you for 4 years in your high school life... Good luck for college this 2013 hope you enjoy your college life! Happy mylotting!

Obviously college days are sweet days in your entire life.Take in to my case i enjoyed a lot in my college day than school days.because we are grownups now compare to school and most of the cases we increase our friends circle.
You also will definitely enjoy your college days more than school days and beware about your studies . Don't neglect your studies .your primary purpose in college is to study.Your happiness lies in managing studies and having fun. Remember THESE DAYS NEVER COMES ONCE AGAIN.
all the best.

Yeah the primary need to college is to study hard. I argree with that I as a student shouldn't neglect the study because if I graduated alot of opportunities will came, our great future also depend in our college, and in our hard work. Time is really important to us, we can do it late but the time wasted will not come back! "time is gold!" haha, have a great day, happy mylotting!

I'd always prefer high school life than college life. In high school, you can even survive an exam without studying. In college, you can't. And you are on your own when you enter the university. No mom who will prepare your breakfast in the morning and make the laundry for you. They just give you your allowance. And I tell you, the junior year is the hardest year in college. God bless to your studies! And hey, sleep whenever you can. Seriously! while you're still a freshman.
