De Gea (MU goalkeeper) respond when City is in same group with Madrid..
he appoint his ex teammate in Atletico Madrid, Sergio Aguerro and David Silva are the key player of City when City against Madrid in Champions league
De Gea said that City had changed to be a great club, not only the EPL level club...
They have chance for beating Barcelona and Madrid if Mancini get the right tactics for it..
Sergio aguerro have another motivation for beating Madrid..(maybe this is caused that Madrid ever underestimate the ability of Sergio Aguerro or because Sergio Aguerro is ex of Atletico Madrid)..
But Manchester city is not Manchester city if David Silva didn`t play...
I agree with that statement..
But maybe De Geo or another people forgot that Tevez and Yaya Toure are key player too for Manchester City...

Whenever I hear about teams like City, PSG, Chelsea, Zenit I get full of anger. They are to blame for destroying the loyal competition in European football.
As for the sporting qualities, City is definitely full of it, they can beat any team in the world, I believe. But I certainly hope they will suffer another upset and will be knocked out from the group stages. But I think the teams that will qualify from that group will be City and Real. City has almost the same squad as the last two years and that is very important in order to have performances. I think they are among the top 5 favorites to win the Champions League, together with Barcelona, Real, Bayern, United.

This is the only time when I agree with Mourinho. He has right, legendary teams are self made, not born over night. City was a very sympathetic team when they were the team of the ordinary people, but now I hate them. In fact, Mourinho said that the tradition will make the difference in their Champions League group, and the tradition is in favor of Real and Dortmund, and against City.

On their day, Man City is capable of beating everyone. However, with Real Madrid and in Mourinho, they have the experience and technical knowledge to performing in the Champions League. While the tactics might work in the BPL, it might not be applicable to European competition. Some of them are pretty new to the experience and that might be working against them.
