I think you have to follow your parents advice and concentrate more with your studies. Well, working online is also good but I don't think if you get paid as of now. You still have to wait until you turn 18 before you will get paid.

There are many jobs that you can do without having to leave the house. This is the era of internet, you can make money from the internet even without your parents know what you do. For example, there are some sites that pay you to do a few small things. The pay may not be as big as what you would receive if you are working offline, but at least you can make a little money to get extra pocket money. If you are active here in mylot atleast you can make $10 per month and you can register in online survey to get another $5-$10 per month, what about write a short story and send to magazine? there many for you.

I think you'd better put your schoolwork at first, as for the work, you can think about find some part-time job during long vocation, it is a good chance to absorbed some social expericnce after all.

Don't worry with your condition erynn,if you're creative and smart i am sure you can find your own job.My advice please think about your hobby.Singing : you can sell your voice with some audition or reporter.Cooking : you can cook some food with your parents and sell in front your house. Writing : write some articles or books, publish it on internet or ask your friend to sell your product.There are many ways to get extra money with your own ways.

Hello Erynn, I think you should follow your parents and focus on your studies. For the meantime you should wait until summer vacation where you can able to work and save without sacrificing your studies and disobeying your parents..It is very hard to study and working at the same time because i personally experienced it. Your going to risk your study and health if you do that, although you can able to save and buy what you want but in return you might get busy and dont have enough time to concentrate in your study. Oh. I advice you to stay focus on your studies first. Don't hurry yourself. Work is a thing that you should be ready for. You might not know, if you are working now you will say I wish I was studying. Just prepare yourself after college. Enjoy being a student first. Anyway, you just have few years more and then you can work by yourself and buy what you want. As of now, you have to stay focus in your studies first. :)

hi, Erynn! If your parents chose you to remain in school, it means they have the means to let you finish school without you helping them with the family's finances. You can always have work after you finish school. Wanting to have certain things in life is normal, but do not want things that are not important. It is much better that you focus on your studies now, and do great with it. Then when you graduate, you have better options in choosing a career. That way you will be able to buy the things that you need and things that you want.

lol..i think you should wish you don't have to go to work...because it is hard to earn money and living by yourself if you don't receive your parents' support. I live alone then i know how hard it is...Enjoy your life now, focus on your study and earn money online sometime when you have free time. After complete your study, you can work till entire your life...

enjoy this time because time will reach when you hate it but the only way to survive is to work so enjoy this time so that you don't hate work when its time comes trust me it is very soon
