Cleaning your house

Good afternoon mylotters,
Its Friday and the weekend is coming at the end of the day. (at least thats what I think) I am cleaning up my house. I am doing a deep clean in my living room, yesterday it was the kitchen. (which you almost cant tell today)! And then I will most likely do the bathrooms. So my question for all of you is, what day do you do your most cleaning? I like to do mine at the end of the week and cook dinner early and that way when everyone gets home its time to just hang out and relax.

Nice end of week clean the house. My husband like the cleaning the house and they most of the time in holiday clean the house.

I prefer to do all my deep cleaning at the end of the week also, so that way I dont really do much during the weekend and I can enjoy my family.

i help clean our house every day. this includes sweeping the floor, mopping, drying the interior space of the house. this also includes cleaning the outdoor space. this is everyday as it requires only a minutes to finish. my heavy chores begin every Saturday and Sunday and that is by dong the laundry and ironing my clothes. and of course s a everyday task for me and this also includes helping in washing the plates. this becomes alternative with other sibling of mine dong there assignments of cleaning there own mess.

I wish that my kids would do this. I had a lot of chores as you do when I was young at home and I had to do a good job or I would get in big trouble. They are supposed to rotate their chores so that its not so hard but they just dont do it. And now that I have a job cleaning a huge dealership, cleaning the whole house all the time along with all the other things that come with running a house I am beat.

Hello ladygator, for me the weekends may be the proper answer. During the workdays, i'm always busy with the job stuff and do a lot of exercise after work.
I rent a apartment one month ago, it's a small one but enough for myself. i try my best to keep it tidy and clean everyday, but still something can be done at the weekends. The shinning home makes me comfortable and relax.

Good afternoon kittysmile,
If I am really busy during the week I will just clean the kitchen since if I dont it will be to hard for me to cook dinner. We will also run out of clean dishes to eat and drink with. I also prefer a clean and tidy home as it does make me feel better and it lifts the air.

I clean a little bit every day, actually. I prefer it, because then I don't have to clean as much in one go, because things don't get really, really messy or dirty if you do that. It works for me, but some of my friends definitely think I am a bit crazy for literally cleaning every day! So it might not be for everyone :)

That cleaning that I do has that specific intention, but the kids in my house are strongly adverse to helping with keeping it clean.

It's been 5 months since the last time I cleaned my house. This is because I am assigned in another place and I cannot go home regularly. I really miss the time when I was at home and having to clean from time to time.

Good evening ARIES1973,
I would miss my house greatly if I was not at home, but I would miss my family most. Its hard enough when you have to be gone for a fulltime job let alone not being there at all! When will you be returning? And have you any family that you are not with during this time? My husband was driving over the road and was gone so much!! He had to stop driving because he missed us so much.

Hi ladygator, I clean our house including the bathroom almost everyday because our house is quite small and easy to clean. I always want to make sure that our house is clean and all the things inside are in proper position/place I am bit OC inside my house. Although during weekends sometimes I do not clean our house because it's my bonding time with my husband and we usually go out from morning until dawn.

I used to clean all the time as well. I was very very meticulous about everything being organized. I was like that even in high school. My friendss used to tease me because if they moved one thing, I would always put it right back where it was. LOL I even had the pastas and such labelled! LOL But with a husband, four kids, 3 cats one dog, it has gotten difficult to maintain this level of clean. Sadly enough. But one day I am sure that it will get back to this. One day!

I don't do a deep clean every week since there's just me most of the time. I try to clean the kitchen, living room and bathroom midweek, then on the weekends I do the bedroom and office (but not every week).
This house doesn't get very dusty, so under the beds, windowsills and so on, don't need attention as often as other houses I've lived in. Right now all the windows need washing, though!

Its kind of counter active with my cleaning and the detail that I aim for. Because I have a lot of people in my house so it just gets messed up with various things as soon as they come home. So for the most part I just ask and work towards having a nice and clean kitchen. I only work on the bathroom upstairs once a week. I used to do it more and think about doing it once a day, but I really work on my kids to help one another to keep it clean. Since there are 4 of them the oldest making the most mess (16 almost 17). But thats like pulling teeth....

So do you mean that you dont do any cleaning, that someone else does the cleaning in your house? That would be so nice if I never had to clean and someone else did it for me.

I wish I had a certain day I could clean on. My work schedule changes week to week so I use my day off to clean. I am actually off today so I will be doing a major cleaning today...in-laws coming down tomorrow...eeeeekkkk. The hardest part will be the kids rooms and getting them to help lol.

It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get the kids to help! Which is pretty frusterating because they sure want plenty from me. I had to clean my daughters room a few weeks ago because we were having a city inspection. I clean good at the end of the week and am after the kids constantly to keep my house clean. LOL
