Do you bike a lot?

I live in a relatively small town, so everything in this town is at 5 to 10 minutes biking distance. For this reason, I always take the bike when I go outside. Whether I need to go to the supermarket, the bakery, or a restaurant, it's all close-by and bike-able. What about you? Do you use the bike a lot? Is it convenient to use a bike where you live?

Yes, i also use bike. Bike is very useful and economy friendly. Actually i think i need bike in my daily living because this is very convenient every time that i will buy in the store and market. I also do biking also for exercise. Every morning i try to bike near in the farm so i can also breath fresh air there. I also use bike every time that i will visit my sisters.

Bikers on the go - Biking makes them happy.
My husband does. He loves to bike and he bikes a lot sometimes he even goes out of town by bike together with his biking comrades. But me. I don't really bike these days. When I was younger, I do but now I prefer to walk for short distance travel because I believe walking is the best exercise and if longer by car.

I use to have a bike as recent as a couple of years ago, but I haven't been able to replace it since it was stolen. Right now, I don't have a place where I can keep a bike, but I would like to get one as soon as I can make room for one. What I like about bike riding, because I like all forms of motoring, is that here, you don't exactly have to be on a road, and deal with traffic and congestion. There are several areas where people can ride bikes through parks, and trails, but you know someone is from the city because they know how to ride a bike in the street with traffic. Not many trails in the middle of the city. To use it as a daily commuter around here is a mixed bag. On one end, if you live in an area where everything is close, then a bike is a great idea. However, because the metropolitan area is so large and everything is spread out, it would take quite some time to commute from point A to point B. And that is before we even mention if you are adventurous enough to ride in a snowy climate...

I had a bike when I was young but now I don't have anymore. Yes, it is also possible for my place to have a bicycle if they would just want to. There are some bikers here in my place who bike every morning just for their exercise. I hope I own a bike as of now. But I think it wouldn't be possible. Maybe soon I'll be having one. :_)

I do not bike a lot but my bf does have a bike and he really likes it!! he even joins cycling fun runs. and he's really good at it, with good stamina at that. hehe he travels south or north a lot of times only in bike and those are like 100kilo meters. wow! I think i might not even be able to do that myself... But starting this coming year, i think i would be biking myself, but only inside the house as we have bought a stationary bike that we can use. :D SO i guess now soon i will already be biking more often, though my travel distance is the same, what i will see are the movies and series and the travel show, instead of the scenery where i will be biking hehe

Hi oyomesan, it's really convenient to live close to all those outlets and hypermarkets that we will visit often. Therefore it's so nice for you to reach your destination by biking I usually get there by foot as it takes me less than 4 minutes to reach any of them except the hypermarkets. The hypermarkets are quite some distance away from my place it will take half an hour or so to reach there by cycling. I have to drive there for sure. I like riding on my bike in the evening at the neighborhood as physical activity to keep healthy and fit. Happy posting

when i was a kid me and my younger sister always do biking on the street in the morning and in the evening, but now that we grew up we don't have much time now to do biking in the street, though we still know how to bike because when we are in province we usually do biking everyday.

I do a lot of cycling. Generally speaking I commute back and forth to work each day. I also run small errands on the bike. Beats paying the high price of gasoline. Not everything is that close but that's never bothered me in the past. I babble about cycling regularly on myLot here. That particular interest can use all the contributors we can get. Sometimes I think I'm the only one putting topics up there anymore.
