Is religion the root cause of all the worlds evils, or does it have a major part to play in the lives of us all

I don’t think so. The teachings of religion is not tells us to hate people. Some opportunists misuse and manipulate it according to their suitability. All the religion teach us love to all, live in peace and GOD is one.

no I do not think Religion is the root cause of evil, I think that religion plays a huge role in many countries political thinking, and in the US we have separated politics from religion, although with bush sometimes it is hard to tell but we have that in our constitution. Religion is really a preference in the US, but I think in other countries it is kind of like LAW....do you know what I mean?
