Jerry taking Alexis

Just how does Jerry ever think that kidnapping Alexis will ever work especially if he causes the death of two of her daughters. Alexis should have said she would only go with him if he gave the antidote to her daughters and clawed and fought if he didn't. What was he going to do them, kill her?
