Rice cone or usually called nasi tumpeng is an important of the celebration of the traditional feast in Indonesia, especially for javanese, bali and madurese people. Celebration and festivity is a form of gratitude and thank to the God on the abundance of the harvest and other blessing. Because it has the value of gratitude and celebration, nasi tumpeng often serves a birthday cake in celebration of a birthday party now. Nasi Tumpeng usually contains: yellow rice, wholeness chicken, shrimp satay, egg pidang, fried chicken, sambal fried liver, abon beef, omelet slices, dried tempe, potato cakes and urab. How do you think about this?

hi, hayate, nasi kuning is actually old tradition, but I love that we still have it till now. I even prefer nasi tumpeng than any other cake. I'm javanese and nasi tumpeng will always special for me. I love the taste of nasi kuning and all the combination, especially dried tempe, omelet slice, abon and potato cakes ( do you means "bergedel"?? )

old tradition is what makes Indonesia. we have to keep it and preserve it. I'm very proud that we have nasi tumpeng. for me it's better than any cake in other tradition of any celebration
