Find partner on Matrimony site or in person?

If you are planning to get married, and you don't have a Boyfriend or girlfriend 
. how will you be searching for a partner to get married?
Will you use matrimony site or will search in person. by person i mean, search around you, people whom you may know, or ask your family, friends, relatives to find a partner for you? 
what would you prefer and why?

I've found my other half in person, but that's just me. A lot of people find the people they married online. People are different and are comfortable in different environments. In my opinion you are just as likely to find your future partner online as in person and either place is good to look for. Of course there is the added possibility that you might find someone who is just pretending to be someone they're not but on matrimony sites most people are there for the same person. To find someone they might be able to marry in the future. Either place in my opinion is good, it just depends on what you are more comfortable with.

online is also good, if you can easily find out information about that person, before marrying him/her. Now, i have seen, so many create fake profile, marry that person, and end up killing their partners or run away with their money and so on. i come in news so many times. so its better you marry, after getting all information about your future partner.

Haha,if it's time to get married,i will have a try by these two ways.
The more people you know,the earlier you can find your partner.
But it should be careful if you by a matrimony site.After all it's hard to know much about him or her.

Today there are many different ways to find a partner. Some people find their partner through family or friends, some people meet through a dating agency or through an online dating site. I have found my husband on the internet. When my ex-boyfriend and I broke up I joined a couple of online dating sites. At first I met two other men, but those meetings didn't turn out that well, so we never met more than once. The third time I met my husband and today we have been married for 3 years. I chose to look for a partner on the internet instead of asking my family or friends to help to find someone, but if they had suggested someone I would have been open to that option as well.
