I am a little OCD and so that maybe why I like everything clean. But laundry in particular is my favorite! I febreze everything I can't launder. I would love to sun dry and sun bleach something today since I was out all day yesterday but I can't! That beautiful ninety degree sunny day we had here in New York yesterday is gone and it has been cloudy and worse ...raining too. Ugh! Is that thunder and the street cleaner I hear? It's about to pour but those street cleaners still think its worth it to keep working?! Silly city workers. I would take an early lunch and wait for the rain to do my job :) I wash everyday and hang everyday to save on dryer/electricity expenses. But I always dry or fluff in the dryer to remove allergens, dust, cat hair, etc. It's raining harder... :( Internet went out so I guess I'll keep typing. I turned off the air conditioner to save electricity but I guess that's a bust and now I have to close the window. I just heard the neighbor do so. I love laundry to smell and feel. I love the orderly process of folding too. I can't wait to make more cloth diapers for future lil' ones. That will make sure I'll have laundry everyday allday. I love being able to experiment with different cleaning products I can put together to get things clean. One of my favorite books is "How To Clean Practically Anything". It's the perfect guide to get out certain stains. I do own Marths Stewart Housekeeping Bible, it is amazing. She even writes about a certain leaf of a spice that you can keep in your pantry to ward off pests! No park today but our homeschoolong lesson of the day for my two year old is about rain, thunder, wind and a good song... Rain, rain, go away Come on back another day! Little Lucy wants to play, Rain, rain go away! I am so bored right now because I can't do my favorite thing. So that is why I'm writing about my favorite thing. It is nice to sleep in during these mornings so maybe I will nap with my daughter later. Internet's back! Cooking lunch...What do you do on a rainy day? Do you love laundry as much as I do?

My daughters and the cat have found the warm laundry to be their favorite nap place. The warmth of the sheets just out of the dryer can put anyone to sleep. I know I have the dryer on and my daughter sleeps good. Once it goes off she wakes up.

Me too! I love doing laundry. It's the only house chore I love doing. I don't know why but it feels relaxing and it doesn't require any "brain" to do it. And I feel a sense of accomplishment when I do it because I actually did something for the family!

Hi to my new LaundryBuddy! I do believe in that feeling of accomplishment. I feel the family aspect of that too. That everyone is taken cared of. I hate the disappointed faces when what they want to wear is dirty. :/

I used to dread doing laundry! For years I had to take my wash to the laundry mat to do! Once a week I dragged a weeks worth of laundry down two flights of stairs and drive to the nearest laundry mat! It drove me crazy! Luckily I don't have to do this anymore! A year and a half ago a friend of mine gave me her washer and dryer! No more laundry mats! I still am not a fan of doing laundry but at least i don't have to make time to go to a laundry mat anymore!

The washing and drying of laundry is not such a big deal the machines do all the work, when it comes time to fold and put away, I don't care so much to do. I would rather play in the yard weeding and planting flowers or vegetables that is so much more rewarding. Hey how about you come do my laundry and I'll come tend to your garden:):):) have a good day.

I would rather be outside too. I loved being in my family house in the Carribean. I would weed and get everything clean and tidy. I would especially love hanging the laundry at one end and by the time I'm done with the last of it, it was so hot, that I could pick up the laundry from the beginning and start folding. I can't wait to get a large property and be done with city living! I would love help with a garden then. :)Have a good day too.

i love washing my clothes too. i handwashed it or wash it over washing machine. i want to have my clothes smells good as i wear it and to sleep with good smelled bed covers. but cannot do it all of the time because busy with my studies. and there is one great hindrance why i cannot do it, it is because i have an arm injury history. we do not have dryer that is why i need to lift the clothes as i wash it. you know heavy stuff and used my hand for this kind of task.

I handwash the babys clothes only. I also handwash anything that can be handwashed and airdried to keep them from being worn down by the machines over time. I had a dryer for a long time before I had my washer. The dirty working outside clothes and play clothes from the park or beach were the ones that needed the machine or I would be cranking my hands for hours. I would be up all night doing laundry in the kitchen sink so I could watch tv while I washed the baby clothes.

since i cannot make all the laundry of the family because of my health status, what i am taking care of are my clothes alone. so no hard time for me to worry whom clothes to wash. i cannot rely my clothes to others also because i want to do it by myself to be sure that the laundry being washed is neatly clean.

I love doing the laundry too. That is my favorite house chore. I'm also OCD. I'm very particular with our clothes. I want it very clean. I want our white shirts to be really white. I want our clothes to smell good. Sometimes, it's hard to dry up clothes here because it's always raining. So when the clothes don't smell that good, I rewash it. Then I also do the folding. I make sure that the clothes have the same size when they are folded. I put them in our closets in such a way that they are color coded. And my partner loves it..

I try the color coordination. It doesn't work for us as we have a family closet. I have to put things in size order to maximize space. So the yellow tshirt and the yellow dress cannot be put away with eachother :( Its dresses with dresses and shirts with shirts, etc. I am guilty of rewashing too.

I dont hate doing laundry but I dont love it either. I absolutely hate doing dishes though and washing the floors. I'd rather do laundry and clean toilets before doing either of those. I dont use febreeze it bothers my allergies really bad and as far as I know it doesnt kill bacteria just masks the odors. I prefer oust spray.

I used a washing machine but I hate having to do my own laundry . If I was more financially stable I would hire someone to do it for me .

Doing laundry is the kind of house chore which i'll never love to do. It is so tiring , you need to exert great effort. I prefer to clean the house than wash clothes.
