Last saturday, I was doing zapping on the Tv, and I found the H&h channel, and they were showing a program that is it about how people use some cuppons to reduce the cost of the food.
Here, in my country, we dont have this system to reduce costs. So I dont understand the system that they showed, but I know that is very well known in countries like u.s and canada, and it seems to be great, and be intelligent.
Have you ever used discount cuppons to reduce the cost of the food? What´s your experience?
have a nice day

Yes, I've used discount coupons at the super market to reduce the cost of buying some stuff. I get a free magazine every month with different coupons for many products including food items, and I use them if I intend to buy those products.
I've also used coupons at restaurants, if I have them. For example, there are coupons that give a free pizza, like 1+1 offer. I find those kind of offers very useful because I can eat with my friends and pay half the price for my dinner!

hi besweet, how are you? first of all, thanks for reply.
It seems you have experience using coupons, it sounds fantastic! When I´m watching this kind of tv programs, I feel so curious about how housewives use their skills and reduce the cost. Have a nice day!

I am doing it because it reduces my expenses a lot if I actually need the products that are offered with coupons! Usually it costs 30% less and sometimes it might be 50% when it's a promotional offer. When I was younger I didn't feel very comfortable to go out for dinner and use a coupon, but from my student years I learned to take advantage of those offers or else I would be without money before the end of the month!

Yes, I have used several before. It is also evident in the Philippines especially in malls. It depends to the coupon though. I think not all of them really gives me a discount. For example, I can purchase this kind of discount provided that I buy a minimum of this amount of food with them. Well, I don't find it really that helpful at times. Where is the discount if I have to buy a minimum of P500.00 and only get a sundae free for that? It's just a way of attracting and luring people into their food chains.

Hi alilin28, using discount coupons to reduce the cost of purchasing food is my usual way of doing shopping Collecting coupons from the newspapers and magazines is my another hobby when reading these stuffs lol....I like to buy things from outlets where I can get coupons after purchasing certain amount of goods. Here there is a hypermarket will send some coupons to us regularly for purchasing food. Of course I would buy using the reducing coupons on items that I wish to buy only. Yeah, this can help to save quite some expenses on buying food

I use coupons whenever I can because lately they seem to be hard to find. I only use coupons on products I use and I always look to see if I am getting a good deal. I know there is a show called Extreme Couponing (it is on TLC network) and some of those people over do it on coupons and I also read that some of the stores they use do not double coupons for customers, but rather they do it for those who are on the show. I go to coupons.com and print off coupons online and sometimes I go to the companies websites and print off from there as well.

Yes I have used SODEXO cuppons.I used to get these things from my brother. They are given to him from his company. These companies use this in order to reduce their taxes.Hence the employers make use of this cuppons in place of some of their salary so that they also do not have to pay their taxes for these cuppons. This way the people can save their money that will be paid as taxes.I see many places that accept these kinds of cuppons also.

I'm not too sure how coupons work in the United States, but I have heard of it before. It seems to be really worth the effort. As for my country, things are just randomly on sale. Just sometimes there's a coupon here and there for a restaurant of sorts, but that's not that common.
