You know, 4 years ago I saw people leaving the polling place already spouting about Obama paying for their gas, house, etc.
They talk about banning profits.... WTF..... I just don't even know what to say to that. Can a person be so stupid? evidentaly yes, a whole group of people can be! I guess goods and services just appear.
Why oh why don't these people just move to a socialist country and leave the self reliant and responsible people here to excel?

I'm thinking they are hoping Prez Obama will take the profits from the corporations and give it to them! Of course, another line of stupid reasoning is once gov gets their hands on everyone's money, they're going to hand any of it out! Because by then they won't have to hand it out to get votes because votes will no longer matter!

I remember a large number of people standing in line to get (and these are their words) some Obama money. I suppose I shouldn't expect those who've never earned to understand what profit is.

it just goes to show that they'll follow him into hell. IF they were thinking for themselves, they'd have come back with; 'are you nuts?' lemmings

One woman pretty much said that, her President right or wrong.

These people have been drinking too much cool aid. They need to find out where those profits go. A lot of senior citizens invest in those corporations for their retirement. Many of those considerations also match the funds that their employees put into their 401ks. Sure those CEOs get a lot of money but they bring a lot to the companies too. It takes a lot to keep those corporations in business. We need those big corporations as much as we need the small business to bring prosperity back to this wonderful country of ours.

It's going to be difficult to bring prosperity back with a mindset like theirs.

To be fair, that was less than two dozen people out of what looked like thousands. Every political party has a certain quota of idiots and loonies.

And where did those two dozen get their ideas?

From the interviewer, most likely - some people are very suggestible - not to mention thick.

With no thinking about it on their part, I'd say some answered too quickly for it to be totally from the interviewer.

Whether they knew he was being a gadfly or not, what were they thinking, let me present myself stupid, economically, before the whole nation?
I'm no economical wizard myself, but at least I know if the company I work for doesn't make any profit, neither do I. The less profit they make, the less the government has to tax which means less money for all their social programs. It's cutting off your nose to spite your face.
