Is it worth it to have a touch screen DSLR or not?

Canon decided to launch their new DSLR Canon EOS 650D. Do you think that it is good for its price and for photography matters rather than any other Entry-level cameras?

the touch screen doesn't mater... even the body don't... but i think that you should have a thought about the lens i you really want to be a pro. but all in all it's talent that counts the most.

yeah, I agree on what you have said. Talent before the gear. :)

I have the Canon 650D and I love it. The touch screen is a nice feature as it allows you to make changes much quicker and easier. If you are buying a camera for the first time you might want to consider buying a manufacturer refurbished camera. It is as good as a new one but it costs less. The other thing is to buy the previous model. For example the Canon t3i is now selling on ebay for between $650 and $700 for the body and one lens. The new 650D (Canon T4i) is listed at $800 and up on ebay. For most people there is very little difference between the two cameras. For the more advanced photographer there is a difference.

touch screen feature in dslr is great help for user for settings adjustments. Remember that the Photo itself speaks louder than the camera you are using.

Actually it's your choice to get whatever camera you want. But if your skill level in photography is not good then why bother getting that DSLR Canon EOS 650D? If you're using it only for a hobby get a normal DSLR.
