I have seen this video even before the song hit a million views in youtube. I looked at it since my friend shared it and he said that it's a funny music dance steps and funny song. My first impression? Well, it's good and really a dance-type kind of song but did not expect it to be the most viral now. At first, I said to myself that this person is somewhat similar to Bayani Agbayani and the dance steps is like the song "Ocho Ocho". I even thought that Bayani is better than him. But now, I couldn't imagine how Psy and his song dominated the music industry around the globe and even shuts down Dougie dance steps.

The reason it's so viral because even though we don't understand most of the song's lyrics, the tune is very catchy. And Psy is actually an antithesis of the korean groups nowadays. He's fun, he's not handsome but he attracts women. Most men in the world's population could relate to him more than other korean superstars.

It's an international hit from an Asian performer and it excites me to see Americans going crazy over this song, too. I love some of the K-Pop groups so I'm proud to see PSY (though his music is not technically K-Pop) getting all the attention, with MTV VMA as the latest gig he's been to. Hope he creates a tsunami and not just ripples in the U.S.
