I think that the cleaner took my photos

Well, if you really need the photos then you might ask the cleaner if your pictures got relocated or taken by accident. If the photos aren't a big loss, you seem pretty sure that the cleaner took them, fire them. The next time it might be your jewelry and cash. You want to fire them anyways, but if the photos are important, wait until you get them back.

ask her politely if she might take your photos over another place. may be she took it, but not to steal it or hide from you. may be she has good desire to move it while she neat all the stuff in your room

Its possible that you moved them and forgot about it and the cleaner just happened to be there so is an easy person to blame. Dont accuse her of taking them ask her something like "I had a stack of photos that I cant find. I thought I had put them in the drawer but they arent there have to seen them anywhere?" Its also possible that if you left them somewhere she might have tidied up and put them somewhere else and might be able to tell you right where they are.

be sure to check all places where you can hid things. maybe you just misplaced it. after doing that and you still can't find the pictures, go and ask your cleaner. i wonder what kind of pictures are they that someone might stole it...

It would be much better if you will ask your cleaning lady if she has seen it. Maybe she just placed it in another drawer.
