I would say that you probably do dream, but just don't remember it. Maybe you are just not that much "in your head." I dream all the time, and I think you might be better off not remembering yours. When you remember your dreams, sometimes they haunt you for days. You have no control over what you dream about, so sometimes they freak you out. I have been crying in a dream, and woke up crying in real life. I've had recurring dreams of being chased by the Cheeto tiger. I have dreamed of people that passed away or people very dear to me passing away. I would tell you not to worry about it because dreams can actually drive you crazy.

hello jalucia, i guess you are right. i am lucky that i dont remember my dreams. i can say that it is better that way than for me to remember for sometimes i am kind of paranoid that i over think on something. if eve i woke up and remember a dream i always find myself checking and asking people what does that mean. before i dreamed of fire and my moms house was on fire and it kept me thinking for a week what that meant. it bothered me for a week. guess i am one lucky dude. thanks a lot for the response

You may not remember, but everyone dreams. It is your subconscious' way of sorting out issues. Dreams occur during a certain point in you sleep cycle. Without the different parts of your sleep cycle you would never feel rested. It has also been said that if a person is not allowed to reach the dream cycle of sleep they would go crazy. Some people just remember their dreams better than others, but everyone does dream. Sometimes it helps to keep a notepad and pen next to your bed. As soon as you open your eyes write down any dream you may remember. When first waking is the most likely time to remember your dreams.

that is because you are relaxed and dont worry about some stuff going on in your mind and tend to be very free and casual.that is a reason

Many studies have been done on dreaming. According to some of them if you are cold and hungry you may not dream much, if at all. Most people do dream. Many people don't remember their dreams. Brain scans have been done on sleepers that shows brain activity while asleep in an MRI machine. Not all study subjects remembered dreaming but the brain scan shows activity (dreaming). This occurs during stage 5 of your sleep. If you wake up suddenly during this stage of sleep you would most likely remember what you were dreaming of. I dream a lot and I have had strange dreams. I don't always remember my dreams. All the dreams that I've had have been just weird. Maybe it's a good thing I can't remember them all. It's interesting that during this dreaming stage of sleep your blood flow, breathing and brain activity increases but the muscles of your arms and legs go through periods of paralysis. Scientists think this may be nature's way of protecting us from acting out our dreams. I know that people who used the nicotine patch to quit smoking said it made them have lots of dreams. One woman I know said she had to stop using it because she was having nightmares. Sleep and dreaming is quite an interesting subject. I found an interesting site you might like. www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=90655 It may help you to make yourself have dreams that you can remember. And then you will have plenty to tell your friends!

Hi, I have read a report about dreams, it says that everyone dreams. Someone can remember his dream clearly whille others can't. It says when we have a deep sleep, we can't remember our dream , it meams we have a good quality of sleeping. So you should be happy for that.

You dream. Next time when you are getting ready for sleep, write down your intention to dream and keep repeating that in your mind as you drift off. If you keep doing it, you will start to have better memory of your dreams. Also, how much sleep do you get in a night? I often find that if I do not get my 8 hours in, then I am less likely to remember. Not remembering your dreams, mostly just means that you are probably a heavy sleeper.

Wow, you don't ever dream, that is great. Obviously you sleep very soundly every night, there is nothing urgent that need to manifest itself into your sleep pattern and hence you don't need a dream to find a solution to your problem. Most of them can be solved while awaken and not bother to come out during your deep sleep at night. I think a dream is a person's mind natural respond to our pyschological stresses and its appearance depend very much on the level of urgency that our mind can cope with while awake. You don't dream only meant that your brain consider it is not necessary to trigger your sub-conscious part of your inner thoughts to seek for a solution or the level of urgency to your problem is not an immediate threat.

There is a saying for what you dream is what you are thinking, I am not agree this fully, bucause sometime my dreams have no contact with my thinking. Beside this, I think my dreams have other two kinds, one is something happened in the past, for example I dream about my childhood time sometime; the other I can not judge it had been happen or not, like sometime I dream I was doing something in somewhere, then after a period of time when I come to a place in order to do something, I will used to dream a similar situation.

Everybody dreams actually. I researched about it. It's just that some people cannot remember what they have dreamed about especially when they are in a deep sleep. I am a shallow sleeper, thus I remember my dreams. The moment you wake up, it only takes a few seconds for us to forget our dreams. You should be thankful that you don't remember them. It means that you are sleeping soundly and you are more relaxed than those who have dreams.

We all have dreams when we sleep, but not all of us could remember them. You would remember your dream depending on the time you wake up. If you wake up during a deep stage of sleep (a stage when dreams occur), then you would remember the dream. I also seldom remember my dreams. Maybe because I don't sleep deep enough? That is why I always feel lethargic during the day.

Maybe you've dreamed of but when you wake up you can not remember what you dreamed, as I often experienced. Sometimes what we dreamed is a reflection of the events that we experienced in the day time, sometimes because we feel very tired or too many thoughts about something. Sometimes I only remember small parts of my dream, sometimes i can not remember at all. It just normal, I think.

I have the same problem, I rarely dream. I notice that I only remember my dreams that come after an important day or an emotional time for me. But even then its not that often. So just like you I don't really remember my dreams but I don't think its anything bad and there is nothing wrong with you because of that. Its just natural.

Studies show that every one of us dream when we sleep. but there are sone dreams that we can not remember. there were tests done to know whether a person dreams. the REM or rapid eye movement is one indication that we are dreaming in our sleep. this somwtimes happen during deep sleep.
