my parents have lived in countryside for almost 55 years, and as they're becoming the aged men, i want to buy a house in the city for them to live in as their only child. i want to do it myself, and i didn't ask for their advices and their permission. but now i wonder, is it suitable for them to live in the city? would they be comfortable if they live in the city? am i right to do so?

Actually old men need a comfortable life. In their old age they need special medical fecilities, electricity and to maintain hyegin. But the problem in a city there is no spacious space to move or a nuisance like vehicle sound free environment. Aside from this city air polluted with carbone and murcury that can result in health hazards.
Except some medical facilities, I dont expect any city live living. I think the people of city life is self centric. City life is nonsense to me.

Hi,
The country life is a peaceful life and city life is fast and crowded life. But you are the only son of your parents so they can adjust with the city life. Medical and many facilities are available in city. So it would be better to live in city.

My grandfather lives in the city and has no problems with it. He's in his 70's and to be honest I think a life in the city facilitates his needs more than if he had stayed in the big house he had in the country. He doesn't go around by car so travelling to the city constantly for doctors appointments would have been troublesome, now he has everything not far from where he lives.
