I am aware of the fact that house lizards are considered to be friendly in the term that they eat mosquitoes and cockroaches, but holy... I have never heard about this. It is better to see a lizard sticking on the wall than moving around on the floor or kitchen slabs. There are so many lizards in our house. Earlier I would feel irritated at the very sight of it, but now I am used to seeing it so much that I have allowed one to stay in my room ...

i really hate lizard in my house.
i don't know about any legend. but i thing, i can say that, lizards eat all kinds of small insects in your house, flies, etc. in that case, lizards could be your friend. cause you cant keep spraying your house all then time with the chemicals/sprays to keeps your house safe from mosquitoes, flies, etc.
in this case one lizard in the house is OK, but not too many. and just hope they don't fall in your food, or been seen by the guest.

Hello nicanorr. I agree with you that lizards are such great reptiles capable of ridding you true pests such as cockroaches and mosquitoes. I hate cockroaches and mosquitoes so i let lizards live in our house. I don't notice the smell of lizard dung since i have smelled it yet. Anyway, your first sentence was interesting. He he he. They aren't actually really pest for you since they don't violate your private things such as food and such so they make good household pets. Good day to you.
