The Alchemist

I have read The Alchemist quite a few days ago.I like this book very much specially Santiago.The book not only tells a story but also gives us an idea how to reach the goal in life.I have to give a book review on that book,so I want to know from you all that how much you like this book and what are the shortcomings of that book.Please share your opinion if you have already read this book.Thanks in advance.

Okay, overall, I liked the book. But, I'm not head over heels in love with the book. It's true, there were lots of good things and life lessons that you can get from the book, but sometimes, I feel like, this book has said too much life quotes, and almost forgotten about the story. That's the only bad thing that I can actually say about the book. It was a good book, but not that remarkable as the other books that I have read.

How about Little Prince? Have you read it already? It is almost the same as The Alchemist. A boy had a journey and so on.

too bad... i haven't finish the book until now. i have read the first half around 2005 but i returned the book and never borrow another to finish it. i have no idea what happened in the end of the story.

My friends are also saying that this book is indeed worth reading, but I cannot really find time to read this book. Another thing would be, I am not really into reading such books. haha, maybe later I will really find time to read this one.

This book inspired me to read lots of Paulo Coelho's books. I collected all of his books. The greatest book that I have read is The Alchemist. It enlightens us to continue the path that we chose. My favorite line is "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it". He is saying that, we can achieve our goals if we are really eager. We have friends, family, and parents that can help us if they see that we are indeed want to achieve it.
