How to become an effective marketing person

Hi just wanted to ask some suggestion to fellow mylotters how to become an effective marketing person... please understand that my income depends on my market. I wish I could deliver. More productions more clients this year so that I can reach my quota, it's bit stressfulbut I am challenge and want to deliver the best and profitability to my dearest company ,my bread and butter .

Marketing is about attracting people to know more about your product, make them like they need it, make them feel like they need a help and you are their helper.
Tell everything about the product, whether the goodness or the badness.Cause when they get attracted and satisfied, they will be your loyal customers.
