Hello mylotters. I am an amateur and very slow writer. Can anyone share tips on how to write fast. I mean this is not just simply writing fast, it is writing with many good ideas. It is putting ideas in writing but doing it in a quicker way.

There are several areas which we may have enough knowledge with, concentrate on those areas. When writing, the most important thing to achieve is quality and not the qunatity. So I don't think that it is really necessary that you write fast.

I read one post in the expertscolumn, a lady said she is earning about $500 a month only through mylot. She said she makes 400 postings daily. The reason she can do this according to her is because she can write fast and she just loves writing. I wonder is it really possible to make hundreds of postings daily? I know I can't. Maybe I can do the most is 50 postings. Even that will take a great effort on my part. The lady said she spends about 3 hours daily on mylot. What do you think?

400 postings per day? It must be a wonder woman I never heard about that , and actually we are being paid for the quality of our writing. I ever only made 1 post and earned 5 cents , and other day I made 2 posts and earned 1 cents. Just start being active giving a good and useful responses and discussions . Tell us anything you are into at that time

I think the best way to write a lot and write it fast, is to choose a subject that you know a lot about or are very keen on. That way you can just write as much as possible, since you know what you are talking about. If you choose a subject that you don't like it will be a lot harder. Good luck

This is a very good tip. Thank you very much mistissa. It is much easier to write something that you have vast knowledge, right. Great tip!

First you have to learn how to type faster and also to read faster. We used to have learn how to type boos that you may be able to get in an old bookstore or a thrift store, and there used to be the Evelyn Wood readng course that helped one to learn how to read in chunks and therefore you will also learn how to think in chunks

I think it just amounts to practice. Plus, read more and read a variety of things. I think reading really opens up the ideas and creative flow, plus I don't think you can be a good writer unless you are an avid reader. Then I think just taking notes, writing down outlines of ideas so you know where you're going. Something that helps me is I don't write in order. If I have an idea of how I want to write one part, I skip straight there and fill in the blanks later. It helps me get all the ideas out of my head and concentrate on the parts I haven't thought about yet.

Maybe you could take notes or similar of your swift ideas and thus have them for later use? When I think about writing fast I think about typing faster and that only comes with practice (and a keyboard that works).

Yes, I think you are right. One of the ways is probably to write down any ideas that pop up in your mind on a note book. So, that will help me when I start my writing project. Hey, we all can apply that for mylot too right. Since the more post we make, the more cents we accumulated. So, note book is still very indispensable.

"Practice makes a man perfect" is something I would like to start my post from. As you practice more you notice yourself developing which further gives you confidence. At times you do not see a noticeable change in yourself but others observe and can clearly make out you improving. I am not a very fast writer too but I have seen that I am improving rather quickly since I have joined mylot as this is my first experience of regular writing. I also hope that I am improving my words, vocabulary and writing skills as well.
