I'm a huge fan of The Sixth Sense , who doesn't love that movie, rite? I think Syamalan was great of making such twisted plot movie ,I was surprisingly shocked for almost all the endings of his movies. I love unbreakable , at first I tot it would be a sequel movie since I saw the lead Actor - Bruce Willis - in there. I also like The Village - I would consider it as a boring movie actually if I didn't see the ending - what a surprise. I'm not sure with this but Syamalan always give me something new - and I couldn't barely guess what happened in the next... He has great movies until I saw The Happening - duh - it was so.. I even don't have a proper words to describe it. Me - and my friends was like "okay . so? it is just about windy died movie? sorry, it was a movie?" And then there we go - The Last Airbender - I went sleep a couple times and I couldn't finish the movie.. And.. here it comes "DEVIL" , actully it was quite good horror movie. But I was lost somehow - where is Syamalan's original fresh movie? I miss his great movies. What is your fav movie of Syamalan's?

The problem for M Night Shyamalan is that Sixth sense was just so good and worked so well. The fact that no one expected the ending made it all the more popular. Now because most people expect twist at the end, most people watch the movie not so much to see the story but if they can catch the twist, that was the criticism for Unbreakable was that a lot of people suspected Price's (Samuel L Jackson's character) secret so the reveal was not too wow. Many did not like the Lady in the Water, which I have come to like. His movies are good, they are well directed, generally well thought out and visually interesting, but that brilliance of the first movie is difficult to get back because it is no longer new or unexpected.

Well , I must say that unbreakable actually got me . I didn't even be able to guest the twisted ending , but yes it was not that wow as the sixth sense , which hit me to the ground. I watched Lady in the Water, I didn't find a twisted ending nor the new ideas in it. But it was a quite interesting movie , kinda thriller - fantasy movie for me. Especially when he could make the fantasy athmosphere came to the real world (when they saved the lady from the hunter) And I have to agree with you that nowadays there are many great twisted ending movies - which makes the boring one could be the great one. That what exactly happend with The Other - the great movie that was the cirticism for releasing date - if only it could be released before the sixth sense. That's it, if he couldn't make the twisted ending , just make the story amusing to be watched. I never doubt his skills on visual nor directing , but when The Happening came with the nonsense plot - it killed the movie. Anyway, thanks for giving a good response here, Leeloo Have a wonderful day
