hello, lotters, last night I watch the movie called "Krakatao : The last days". The film is about Krakatao volcanoes that had erruption and become one of worst volcanoes tragedy in the world. Krakatao was volcano located on Indonesia, it's in the form of island of volcano. So, it is about the eruption tragedy and terrible tsunami ever. This is very good movie because taken from reality. after watching the movie then I went to my bed and sleep -it has been midnight. then, this become unusual because in my sleep I dream about that tsunami and I were one of the victim. I tried to run, run and run with people to the hill to avoid the tsunami. the dream seems very real until I get cough like I drink a lot of water that tsunami brought into. it made me awake and could not sleep anymore because I really get cough for seconds. woooaaahhhh... what a dream!
do you have similar experience, mylotters? do you ever have a nightmare after watching a movie? what do you feel about that?

oh yeah, as it happened to me too and so did with my auntie. that night, we watched a horror movie in a television. as we slept together that night, we are so shocked because my auntie was shouting, no, don't, no as she crawled down from the bed we used to slept. she was really crawling and shouting hysterically as we saw her like that. we laughed because of the scenario because we are nailed at the moment we saw her. we became bewildered too and eager to see what will happened next. we shook her and when she was conscious already, we asked her, what happened to you auntie, and she answered nothing. we all back to sleep and having a hard laugh in the morning as we retold the story to each one and to everybody. so we said, it all occurred because of the movie we watched.

I once had a nightmare after watching a movie, but I forgot about the exact content of it. I don't feel good about having a nightmare as it makes us feel very real in the dream.

When I was very young, I had nightmares for a while after my father took me to a scary movie. The movie is now thought of as almost a comedy, but it scared this little child at the time. Don't know why he chose that particular movie. It definitely was not his usual style. I'd guess that it was just what was showing at the least expensive theater. We didn't have much money at the time. A movie was a real treat, as this occurred before TV was common. In fact, it was a good 10 years before I saw my first TV program.

Yes, that was a long time ago. I don't actually remember anything about the movie. I just remember being scared. I'm sure that if I saw the movie today, I'd laugh at it.

Hi Redva, my son always have a nightmare whenever he watched some movies. He will wake-up and scream and sometimes even will wake me up and telling me he saw who and who. Sometimes, it really makes me feels terrible as well. So, i always not allowed him to watch any movie with me especially during weekdays. Only on weekend, then i will let him join me and hubby watching movie. But, of course not those scary type of movies. Just those animated movies which suitable for children......

Hello
Oh....what a terrible dream!! I also have the same experience. That's also the reason why I seldom watch this kind of movies.:) I'm afraid to sleep after watching the movie. I guess it's better to watch this during daytime..:)
Have a great day.

watching during daytime is good idea, lit, because the possibility to get a nightmare is fewer. but in daytime, horror movie wouldn't as scary as when we watching in night, right?
