Seriously, what kind of topics or questions do people would want to answer here? It's just that every topic has only 3 response. If it's a good topic, then you get 15 or more.

If you have something to discuss, it matters little whether you get one response or a hundred. The only difference might be that you might have difficulty replying to a hundred responses with something of quality whereas, if you have only one respondent, you might be able to continue the discussion for several pages. Do you give good quality replies to all the people who respond to your discussions so that the discussion may continue and become interesting?

I'm just new here in myLot and I still haven't posted a lot of discussions. I just noticed it while commenting on a few posts. Some didn't even get a response even if the discussion is debatable or kinda interesting.

This does happen sometimes. There can be a number of reasons, the main ones being: 1) The discussion may be a 'guideline violation' - often a "poll type" question which is answerable in a word or two only (even though some people may choose to answer it in more). Sometimes discussions which are 'guideline violations' are left alone by many people because they know that they will very likely be deleted. 2) The discussion was posted under an inappropriate Interest (or under no Interest at all). Some people tend to use the 'My Interests' tab to advise them of new discussions and, if a discussion is posted in a little-subscribed Interest, the wrong Interest or under no Interest at all, it may tend to be seen by fewer interested people. 3) Occasionally there is a 'surge' of discussions and new discussions very quickly move off the first page of the 'New' discussions tab. Some of them may be missed altogether. 4) The discussion may have been started by someone who is known not to ever come back to reply to discussions. People tend to ignore people who ignore them!
