Do you feel bothered when someone unfollows you on Twitter?

Twitter following gives us the complex of celebrity. The more followers we gain, the more we feel what we tweet are valuable, that people are interested in everything we do. But once we see the number of our followers decreasing, we go over our tweets and suddenly become conscious of our online behavior. Was it the spamming, was it the cussing, was it the senseless retweeting? Has this ever bothered you? Do you let your followers dictate what you tweet? Or do you just shrug it off and go on with your tweeting habits?

Do I get bothered if I get unfollowed? Not at all. If the person does not agree with my views or opinion why are they even following me? I thought the point was because they thought what I was thinking /or thought was interesting Southey would or to hear more. I just shrug it off and pay it no mind. For one that unfollowed me there's always another that will follow. Minor matters need no more attention.

True, for every unfollower, another one follows. I think Twitter should be a place for all-out expression, it will be sad if everyone has to comply to their followers' preferences because it will only defeat Twitter's purpose.

I've lost a fair few of my MASSIVE 35 followers recently, so I'm down to 33. I'm not too perturbed by it, I want people to follow me because they like what I have to say. So I don't see much point in changing what I tweet whenever I do lose someone. I don't have a massive twitter following and have no concern with having one, so it doesn't really matter to me.

I never felt bothered about this thing. The reason being we cannot change that decision. Actually there was a case when one stranger started following me and later he stopped. I think I didnt follow him back and that might be the reason. i would suggest you neednt get bothered by these things.

Maybe a little but I would eventually get over it. I don't care about the number of followers though.

I think everyone is happy when he got new follower on twitter, moreover those who are complete stranger. It makes you feel like you are "celebrity". Like you mentioned, got new followers, makes us feel like people are liking our tweets and what we are doing. I don't feel bother if people unfollow me because once in a while I do unfollow people. It is not because I don't like them or what, it is simply because I don't know why I follow them at first. This is what bothers me on twitter : people follow you because they want you to follow them. But once you follow them, they unfollow you! I really hate that.

While i think with so many followers on such social sites. What we can do is do as normal. Though people may know everything going on in your life, but you can stop using twitter if you don't like to see things like this. I don't feel uncomfortable and it's just entertaining for me.

i dont feel sad or evem bothered about anything related to twitter or instagram. Especially when someone unfollows me. I dont mind that at all. It is just the same as me not following people who follows me.

I have my account but I don't log in anymore. Before, I enjoyed following celebrities I like. I was always updated about their activities, etc. However, I only had few friends or followers. I got bored and I gave up signing in. I seldom sign in there. I don't care if they will unfollow me. LOL. It's my pleasure. Happy mylotting.

No, why would i be bothered. People have different opinions on things. Maybe, some unfollowed because they got busy. Just like me, i don't go to twitter anymore. I would rather be here for fun and at least earn for it.

I don't use twitter very much, I have an account but I rarely tweet something! As a follower though, I follow people that have something interesting or smart to say and companies that post updates on my profession, job vacancies etc. If someone posts things that I think is spam then I might unfollow. But usually I don't.

No not in any way. Why would i feel bothered if somebody unfollows me on twitter I never wanted him to be followed I just wanted to make some friends and share my thoughts. If he/she just simply do not think of following me out of any reason why would I take it other way. Just if I think THAT i HAVE MUCH FOLLOWING ON TWITTER o.k but what it has to do with fanfare THERE ARE LOT MANY PEOPLE WHOM I FOLLOW and may unfollowed somebody out of reason that make no sense because that is baseless. Let the people choose if they want to follow you or not or unfollow you in between. Do not expect, it hurts.
