Forward, The Obama Campaign

I have had several days to think upon the DNC and what was said. I came away with the slogan Forward, patience and more of the same, and hope. Did I miss something. I did not see any plans put forth by the democrats in the DNC. Obama is still talking in generalities and no specifics. He is still stating how bad the republican plans are yet he has not shown any of his plan. So I see nothing has changed. Forward doing the same old crap He asks us to be patience and give him time. What, he has had 4 years and he has not done anything yet expect spend except spend 1 trillion dollars more than the government in bringing in. Then he claims it is the republicans fault for stopping him. So what does that mean? Does it mean that he would spend more if the republicans had not stop him?

ah dont get me started on the criminality of the democratic , or even the republican campaigns. Did you guys hear about how Ron Paul was cheated out of his nomination by the RNC?

So how was he cheated out? Romney had the needed delegates that he need to get the nomination.

He wasn't cheated out of the nomination. The GOP changed the rules with a vote (Ron Paul supporters say it was rigged) on how the inidvidual delegates are chosen. Ron Paul did not have enough delegates to take the nomination.

I don't think you missed anything, unfortunately. Obama is good (or thinks he is) at pulling the wool over everyone's eyes. Some people buy it, and that's the sad part. (Mixed metaphors?) Anyway, if the Republicans could have stopped him they would have, I think. I don't know what they stopped him from doing. He seems to have done a lot, like getting us further into debt and taking away even more freedoms. No one has stopped him.

What plan? Is there even one? Oh maybe, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi haven't written out yet. They clearly are on vacation and then have to deal with Republicans and possibly more Republicans when election time comes.

Fatcat, His thinking is that it worked 4 years ago so why not again, and it very well might. No one can ever say he is not an eloquent speaker and he has a speech writer who is second to none. The problem lies with the people who do not like either candidate and will 1)vote for an independant 2)not vote at all or 3)vote for the encumbant because he still talks a good game and maybe he just needs 4 more years to make it all work. The first two are the ones who really need to take a real close look at what they are doing. First, the ones going to vote independant no matter what need to understand that while we really need to end the two party system and the class warfare it perpetuates, it's not going to happen this year and a great many things need to take place before it does. For the ones in the second category, that is tantamount to not caring what happens to our country and future generations. Voting is a privelidge not to be taken lightly so please vote.
