Have you ever gotten a traffic ticket?

I have. Once I ran two stop signs and got a ticket for both of them. The policeman said my car just paused and did not come to a complete stop so that the car had to rock. I thought he was being too picky especially since there was absolutely NO traffic. Was he right? Or was I? How about your ticket?

I got a ticket for speeding, forgot to pay, went to jail. No kidding!

That's terrible. How long were you in jail? It seems kind of rough to go to jail for just a speeding ticket.

That's what I thought til I heard the story of the guy we picked up on the way. He had paid his ticket but got arrested because he didn't sign the back!!!! Now how rediculous is that? I had to spend the weekend in jail since I was picked up on Saturday afternoon and was released on Monday morning. We traveled 200 miles in less than three hours. I was very, very sick by monday morning and my dad had to drive all the way up north to come and pick me up.

I have gotten 2 -3 tickets, all for speeding. I haven't gotten a ticket in at least 5 years though. I didn't pay any of them. I went to court and contested them and the police officer never showe dup so they tickets were dropped. It is always worth going to court, the officers rarely appear.
As for your ticket, my mom has gotten that ticket before. Police love giving out the roll through sign ticket. Once a friend of mine was pulled over for this and she told the cop that she thought the sign was a "octogonal yeild sign" and she was lucky he laughed and didn't give her a ticket.

I got too lucky when I got a speeding ticket, plate ticket, and insuranxce ticket all at once and had them dismissed. I went in to the clerks office and told them how my life would be different without my license and I got very lucky. I haven't got a ticket again, yet (knock on wood).

i got one for speeding i was doing 55 in a 40 it didnt help me the fact that the cop that pulled me over dosnt like me she worked at my school the admin took my word over hers so she dosnt like me i guess she showed me huh
