Has President Obama lost his spirit and confidence?

President Obama may not have totally lost his spirit and confidence but he has certainly been rattled as his performance at the Democratic convention shows. He is still trying to appeal to the consciousness of people instead of displaying and acknoweledging he is aware he is in a fight for his life with foes who are wealthy and unrelenting. What he must do is show and tell how he has attempted to help the American people and what exactly his foes have done to stop him and tell us how he intends to overcome that with our help. He must explain how universal health care is best for the country because the more people healthy, the more people you have to build an economy and a military and we need more healthy and intelligent people to compete against China and India. He must explain what he has done for alternative energy and why its important to move away from foreign oil so countries that hate us cant blackmail us.He must speak directly to the threat. And show how we must build a new alternative energy source. But in these areas he is still trying to appeal to the better nature of people. The average american does not care as long as they have what they need. But they do care about fairness, about life and death, and fear of losing what they have. Obama must appeal to those concerns. He can show how conservatives and those trying to stop him are against what is the best interest of the average American. He must show, and talk about how they threatened to shut down the government. He must show how they made a pact with Grover Norquist to not raise taxes under any circumstances even if its in the best interest of the country. He must draw a simple distinction what he is trying is in the best interest of everyone and what they doing trying to stop him is against the best interest of America. Its as simple as that. But hes has to be willing to call out names and start fights and give direct blame. Its time to call them out and take names and fight.
