According to me everyone should set themselves a goal of how much they want to earn at a certain point of their lives. One that applies to the standard of living they would like to reach in the future. That way they know when they have enough money and they need not chase after it endlessly. I myself have set myself such a goal, its a bit ambitious but at least I know that if I reach it I won't have to try earning more and more till the end of my days.
