Is laughing the same as feeling happy, do you think?

Laugher is always a short-term response to a situation. But happiness is a long-term feeling. Whether we feel happy or unhappy, we can both laugh in some situations. For example, as parents, when their children have gained a good job in foreign countries, Parents would laugh when they heared the good news from their children as a result of feeling happy at this moment, but on the other hand, while their children is far away from them, they feel unhappy as well.

of course being away from their children would be really sad, specially when they are too close to each other. the happiness would be for the thing their children have accomplished themselves and the fact that they are away from each other is unhappy.
it's a mixed feeling, and people should have to face such stage. not all people you are with today may stay with you til the end of your life.
