I was gifts first customer in her new hair salon job...I really didn't need my hair washed at salon, because I normally wash my own hair...Every since I loss all my hair from the chemo, my hair grew back very curly..so all I do is just wash and put some creme in it and go... But I wanted to help out my friend and so I ended up getting my hair blow dried and flat iron, just so my friend could practice on my head....Call me stupid....but she ended up doing a great job... But tomorrow am going back curly again...

Never regret, when you do something for your friends. It was neither her fault also. But of course, she must be very happy to have such a supportive friend :)

Correct me if I am wrong, I thought that she did something with your hair that you didn't want, as you wrote - "Call me stupid". And then you said, you are again going to be curly. I apologize if I meant something wrong.

oh no first its ok, I just need to know what you meant by that. But no she did nothing wrong, I said "call me stupid" because she had never did my hair before, and actually She had not did anyones hair for many years and I never seen anyone's hair she had did previously.....thats why i said that...I let her get on my head with a hot flat iron...lol

It was nice of you to help her out, and get the practice. Also, good feedback on what she did right and wrong. My hair is naturally straight, and has no volume. You could curly it, and a few seconds later it falls out.

Mine is thin and straight wont do anything so I'll gladly take some of your hair. Mine is usually about my shoulder length roughly, I have gotten other styles but nothing stayed in place more than 5 minutes.

I am glad you decided to go back to curly but nice of you to help your friend. Good that it was a pleasant experience. She will be in heavy competition with Chaz before long. lol I'm glad to hear that she is going back to work. I think it will help her mood. Life tends to be better for some of us if we get out in it more.

That was a wonderful thing to do to boost her confidence on her forst day at work. So you are the friend who witnessed how her new boss was going to to the police and the previous employee? She certainly had a dramatice first day on the job. What a good friend you are

hi cynthiann, yes I was her friend who was there but I did not witness the actually removal of the items and I am very glad I wasn't involved with that,,,because I certainly would have told her first of all that it not right what she was doing and secondly I would have told her "how dare she get my friend involved in a grand larceny"... But I am not involved but it was a little uncomfortable when the police arrived and to see that woman just lie was just plain crazy.....

That is awesome that you were there for Gifts to be her first customer at her new job. I know that there have been a couple of times in my life that I've been someone's first customer and when I've done that it has always been something that really made me feel good. First of all, I like it because of the fact that I've been there for someone while they are going through an adjustment period. In addition to that, I also like being someone's first customer because you tend to get a little bit of a better deal on what you are getting done or what you are purchasing.

I hear what you are saying, doing good deeds or trying to help others is indeed rewarding...but there was no discount or deal of any type... Its not her shop she works for someone else, because she is just starting the job I would not have even been looking for a first time favor....LOL... Maybe if I go back again...maybe,,lol

Hehe so you become experimental for your friend? I hope your hair is fine and does not fall off after ironing. If your hair loss you can ask your friends to do the extra care as you were willing to help her for practicing

Your such a nice friend. A true friend as they call it. You're good in treating people nice. As far as I can see it. I admire people like that inspite of your condition, you manage to make your friend happy. Though I think, you enjoyed it. That's a bonus. Take care. Thanks

You're a very caring person bjc! Nothing stupid about it, you're lucky your friend did a good job for you! I remember one time a friend of my mom and dad's was a beautician and since I have thick hair she decided she would give me a perm. Well, needless to say the perm was in my hair for 2 hours! My mom and her got to talking and she lost track of time. My hair for the longest time I could do nothing with it and I steered away from any perms. lol
