How many days do you need to go at work?
Is that 5 days a week or 6 days a week?
What is your office hours?
Do you find it worth or sometimes you have the feeling of being toxic especially if you are obliged to work during Saturdays?
Good thing in our office it is alternate that if I was able to go at work on Saturday then I am not obliged to go at work on next Saturday so at least I can still do my other activities.
I have to admit that I don't really like working in Saturdays because that is the time I want to rest and do other recreational activities if I plan to like sports. If I would have an over time pay of course I am willing to work during weekends.

I used to work in a company which required us to work on Saturdays. Though we only worked half day, we couldn't have much plan after work, also we did not get proper rest. After that, I joined another company which we are only required to work five days. This is much better, as we have two days to rest in a week, and we can have more plans, such as going for vacation or going back to hometown without needing to take leave.
As a work-at-home mother now, I am required to work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Yeah, it's much better and comfortable staying at home and work, at least I don't need to travel, it saves time and energy.
I am a freelance programmer, I am working together with my partner on software projects, he will go and get the projects and meet clients, and I will stay at home and work on the coding part. At first, I wanted to look for more online opportunities where I can earn some income, I really do not have much time for that, after taking care of my kids, working on the projects.

What do you usually work at home? Where did you get that site? I want that as well.
It is actually alright to work 7 days at least you are just at home.
I realized that working on Saturdays can be really toxic thing even if that is just a half day.

We are required to work from Monday to Friday. But being a public servant we can be called to work at any day. So technically we are on duty 24/7. Before I accepted the job offer, I already know

Is that also 8 hours or 9 hours because you don't have Saturday?

Wow meaning to say you are working 11 hours a day? Good thing you can do that and it is not dangerous at all since you said in other post that you are dispatcher of yellow cab. Good thing you still have 2 days off for you to rest.

So what kind of work at home you are doing now? How did you apply it? Is that online? Is it worth to work at home which is online?

When I was on a physical job, I used to work from Monday to Saturday because it is required and part of our working days. Sunday was day off but usually spent in laundry and other household chores. However, we still managed to have social activities after work. Since we time out at 5 PM, there is still much that we can do, the girls to the mall and the guys to the bars. We just need to be responsible to see to it that we are home before 10 PM to sleep and not be late for the following day. Nowadays, I work 7 days a week on my online job and I am able to manage my time better since I can work during the hours that I want to. I no longer have the restrictions that a company imposes on employees to be at the office at 8 promptly and leave only when it is time go home.

What is your online job?
Good thing you can manage it now. It is okay to work 7 days a week but at least we have more time at home. You don't need to rush that much and whenever you are sick you won't be mark as absent.

our work requires us to be here in the office for at least 40 hours. that is the minimum required in our contract and that equals to a 5 day work week, 8 hours each day that is paid. Our work also requires a bit of overtime depending on the work load, but mostly these requested over time is not paid by the company and we would always joke that its OTY, oh thank you! he he

Good thing that is 8 hours for 5 days. I am totally wondering how come there are some companies who are working 9 hours a day which is also 5 days a week? Most companies that I've already applied I asked their working hours and usually it is 9 hours in 5 days instead of just 8 hours.

hi,
in my work because we are in operational mode,we have a six days working days,so meaning i only have one rest day for a week, having a work for six days for me is still good but its more good we only have 5 days to work and the salary is fixed.so when we need a two days or more rest days we need to have an approval from our boss too.

hi there!
I am a teacher so I work five days a week. There are times when we need not go to school because of heavy rains but we need to substitute the absence with one Saturday. I just don't want to work on Saturdays, it's my Sabbath.
God bless!

Are you teaching in elementary or high school? I have a feeling that you are not a college professor because sometimes you need to go school at Saturday depending on subject schedule.
