i heard on the news today that an american embassador was killed in another country. a country that had asked for assistance to be freed from their own government. what was the point?? what did the embassador do? i'll be the first to admit that i keep to a small world. i take care of my kids. i take care of my clients. i work 7 days a week. my husband works hard to help provide for our family. neither of us ever have left the north america continent and really don't have plans too. but with all the crimes that happen here in the united states, it's a miracle we survive. then to hear about how other countries hate us after assisting in their aide, it has me wondering what's going on. i guess i just don't like the way people judge other people by other's actions.

Other people take satisfaction in harming others and destroying lives almost like they are crazed that doing bad is a good thing. You and I can't change the world for better but we can ensure our circle is purer, friendly and more humane. From there people can then go to others and spread the positive vibes. Our prayers go out to the victims and hope their blood being spilled is not in vein.

I heard about this news and it's really saddening. If we would go back in time, we would discover a lot of other examples that shows how the world could suffer different types of abuse from heartless sources. A lot of violence has already occurred and I guess one of the best ways to fight violence is to focus more on the good things in life. If we want more peace, I believe we needed to focus our minds more on peace.

Hello angelwithkids. Where do you plan to go? There is no safe place to inhabit in this world. In our place alone, killing happens every day. Well, the people who are killed are those considered scalawags or garbage of the society. Still, I don't approve of this "supposed" way to curb criminality. If you are a good person in our place, you don't have to worry at all. The "purpose" of all this killing is to eliminate people who have the propensity to inflict damage to others, allowing you to roam safely in streets without fear.

i don't see how an embassador have the propensity to inflict damage to others, but yet he was killed. he wan't allowed to roam safely without fear. i'm a real simple person with simple living. i have taught my kids to show respect people the way my grandparents taught me. when you get down the bare bones, we all have white bones and red blood. why can't we all acknowldege that and respect each other on that?

It's easier said than done, though. As long as we live in this cursed world (Oh, I learned that from Naruto Shippudden, that we live in a cursed shinobi world), there will be pain and suffering! And guess what, things will get worse over time.

Unfortunately thats the reality that we have to live with. These incidents are actually having a cascading effect that can lead to near certain catastrophe. People mistrust some people based on religion or region due to some past out event. This increases anger and vengeance which fuels further violence. this vicious circle goes on and humans start killing each other at a rate seen never before.

that's the part that scares me the most. all this violence is outrageous! the more my son starts to consider going into the military, it really scares me. i wouldn't want anyone to hurt my child when i have taught my child to respect others in spite of their beliefs and way of living. everyone has their right to live the way they want to live and believe what they want to believe. just follow the ten comandments.

My step father was a military man and I am a big supporter of the military. It is a great thing for people to support the military. It just means he loves the country. Violence is the only way to keep peace

Peace is something that I honestly hope can be accomplished one day. However, it's not that easy to obtain world peace. Many countries and even various types of groups in the world still remember past events which creates lingering resentment towards another country or group of people. Unfortunately, some battles and some wars often displays history repeating itself because there are just some people who cannot forgive those who have hurt them and cannot move forward. Unless we can some common ground to resolve the differences of countries and groups of people, there will still be more conflicts in the future.

This may be a pessimistic view but I don't see an end to it. If you look back at history there has always been a time of war somewhere in the world. Sometimes countries go through times of so called "peace" but really those are just times when the violence doesn't reach as large of a scale. It's human nature to be afraid of things they don't understand. This has been the basis or at least part of the basis of most conflicts and when people are afraid they want to do away with the thing that has them afraid. This leads to acts of violence and violent behaviour. There will always be differences between people and countries in the world. And the way I see it there will always be people who will give resort to violent behaviour as a way of treating these differences and getting what they want.

i don't think that's a pessimistic view. like you said, look back at history. if our ancestors had to deal with tragedies, it's our turn to deal with them. just like our children's children will have to deal with tragedies.

Those muslims already got what they are expecting from this foolish administration and US congress by helping them to get rid of a long serving dictator of several decades, there is no more need to let Americans stay alive inside their new country, American nationals are considered expendable and regarded as crusaders as far as muslims are concerned. It is unfortunate US govenment officials still remain way out of touch with a real world especially in their middle eastern foreign policy.

To answer your question itself then it is basically because of the wide differences of each on of us including the traditions, cultures, beliefs and other more that tends to become conflict to each other. Including the fact of being selfish especially in terms of possession then that could be really hard to live with peace. The only peaceful that I know is that when we already live this earth when our time tells.
