Flirting is good for his ego. Sometimes they just want the attention or see if they still got it. Try flirting your self. Aslong as that is it and it doesnt get to inapropriate dont worry. Feel secure with yourself. My husband doesnt flirt but he likes to check out pretty girls and heck I look at goodlooking guys.Nothing wrong with that. It human nature. I ask him to just dont do it in front of me. I trust my husband.

I agree with STOUTjodee. It feeds their ego. most especially if they are a bit older and would want to prove that they still have "it", so flirting is their way of knowing the truth.

I think it's for their ego. I have a saying that you can look,but don't touch. My husband says sometimes men flirt with me and I don't even notice it.
