It's out. Sleek, tall, light, vibrant. Will you buy it? What do you consider when buying a phone? Me, I would not spend much on a phone, cheapskate that I am. But, if I would spend money, I would probably buy some slightly cheaper competitors. I've been seriously considering an Android and was just waiting for Iphone 5 to launch, maybe because I might still want to buy it. But, in the end I think that the launch will make the phone I want to buy even cheaper. What's your take?

I agree whith you jazel. I always consider the price when buying a phone. That's because there would be other brands offering the same feature, yet it's way less expensive.
Speaking of practicality , that's what i always consider.
However, if i have lots and lots money, why not?

Actually, S3 is the one I was eyeing. Still expensive but maybe not as expensive as the Iphone 5. Besides been a Samsung user for sometime now. I think that I get my money's worth. Apple products are too pricey.

Well, since you wrote this discussion, the iPhone5 has launched and I have one. I have had Apple iPhones since they came out years ago. I fell in love with them and have never been able to use a regular phone anymore. Yes, I spoiled myself. But I cannot find any other phone that comes close to an iPhone.

That's cool! I guess that loyal fans of the Iphones are really satisfied going out there every time a new one comes out. I understand that loyalty especially that it IS an outstanding phone. The only thing holding out on me is the price. But, I guess the phone is worth its price.

I think I remember you said that in some other discussion. Or maybe Ford. Yeah, when companies make their products superior, people would be loyal to them.

I have owned Apple products for many years now, and I can tell you that all Apple products are well worth the money. I cannot see myself buying anything else from any other company. That is unless Apple ever goes away. But right now, I will stick with Apple.

I was a Sony Ericsson user one time, and I loved the music. You're right, some phones are less friendly than others and I think Nokias are the easiest. But I'm off Nokia now because I don't think I get my money's worth here. I think it's overpriced here.

That's right. I liked the music system of Sony Ericsson. No new exciting product for me, though, and it looks too... masculine for me. As of now, I'm loving Samsung.

Besides sleek, tall, light & vibrant, it is Smarter too. Many of the features have been enhanced in order to make it smarter. But I would like to tell you one thing before go for buying it you must have apparent reason because the sources shows that millions of people will buy iPhone 5 with no any apparent reason. This implies that no any revolutionary feature in iPhone 5 like in iPhone 4s Siri is one of the revolutionary feature and compel anybody to buy it. So don’t just go on look more than your requirements. This will help you to save big money.

Just the price blows me away, so I don't think I will be buying this phone. I'm looking towards Samsung Galaxy SIII and hoping that since Iphone 5 came out, its price will get lower. Besides the fact that I want to patronize Asian products, I like this brand and have been using it for some time.

Wow, if it's $1,000 there, it will definitely cost a fortune here. When apple products arrive here, the price goes 2-3 times higher. There is another discussion here about the sim.

There is not much difference with iphone 5 and iphone 4S except for some features which can also be found in apps. I will still stick to my 4S.

That's what I hear mostly - that the changes are more on the physical appearance of the phone. Though, of course for some users, those are important in a phone. Like for instance, the larger screen - people who surf the net and do other net related apps surely appreciate the bigger screen. But, for those who are more into the apps themselves, I've been hearing a lot won't do an upgrade to new phone.

Hello..
Iphone 5 is having little bigger screen with some new features.. But if you are having iphone 4s than surely no need to go for it now.. I mean you can upgrade your iphone 4s to IOS 6 os and have those features.... So you just need an update in your os. 4s is surely good mobile.

It seems that many people are somewhat disappointed to iPhone 5. Perhaps they expect a big change and improvement. But it has no more big difference than iPhone 4S. Finally iPhone 5 uses a bigger screen, too. I am not interested in iPhone because it is still expensive. I can have better choices with these money.
I love China

Yes, there are some changes, but more on the appearance - bigger screen, thinner, etc. I would probably buy Iphone 5 if it were not so expensive.

Well then, I hope you find that office job and so be able to save up. I am one who says, if you want it, work hard for it. My friend also dreams for this phone and I guess she's saving up for it. Anyway, it's still not here in our shores.

Hello
I am fan of Apple products, and waiting for the launch of Iphone 5.. But I was just curious that what new things they are going to give now. I am happy with my current Iphone now. I mean I would love to buy it but price of the new iPhone is quite high to go for it now. So currently only noticing its features, and I think they have given good features to this new features. Let's see if it can get that much popularity or not.

I am not an avid fan of Apple (mainly because they're too pricey for me), but, still I was excited, too for the launching of the Iphone 5. Though I find it kinda sad that it's no longer Steve doing the pitch.
