I am rather belated, am I not, for the Bourne Legacy hit the theaters over a month ago, but better late than never. One reason perhaps that made me refrain from commenting about the fourth installment of the Bourne series, which, I claim, I am the number 1 fan of was my own apprehensions about the scenes taken in my own country, specifically my metropolis, my city. That's another story though. I like the movie, and of course, I liked Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz. It does not carry the usual plot of the first trilogy, but this movie actually takes us to the cold, snowy training grounds and the lab, and tells us of how men were turned into fighting weapons, killers, to be blunt about it.

I haven't seen this movie yet. I love the Bourne movies, but I heard that The Bourne Legacy has nothing to do with the rest of the Bourne movies and it's not based on the book that is called The Bourne Legacy either. They just only used the title of the book and that's it sadly. It's the reason why I haven't seen it yet. The Bourne Legacy is suppose to continue with Jason Bourne like in the book, but like I said they used the title and that's it. Nothing about Jason Bourne.

The Bourne Legacy is a continuation of the Bourne story. Watch it, not as spectaular as the Bourne trilogy but it's good sequel. Jeremy Renner is A-okay.

I'll have to see it sometime then if it is a continuation of the Bourne story. I actually like Jeremy Renner. He has done some good movies. I hope to see him more in main role films.

hello, I am also a big fan of the bourne series and I loved Matt Damon in it. It was one of the best spy thriller movie to come out. I was really looking forward to the fourth part but i was a bit sad when I got to know that Matt Damon will not be playing Jason Bourne in it. But still I was interested to watch it as I was a huge fan of the original series. But then I saw the reviews of it and was highly disappointed to see all the negative reviews. People are saying its not that good and the action is missing as was expected from it.

Aside from the famous British spy licensed to kill, Double Oh Seven, and that hilariously exciting Johnny English, no other spy thriller is worth watching but Jason Bourne. I do not read reviews when it comes to these movies, and much of those reviews are foul anyway. The Bourne Legacy is definitely not what we expected, for we did expect the fast pace action of the Matt Damon starrer Jason Bourne trilogy. I always take a movie as it is, even if it is a sequel, and this Bourne Legacy, perhaps a little lacking, nevertheless gave an entirely new perspective, not anymore Bourne's search for his true identity. The Bourne Legacy presents to the viewers the beginning, how good men are experimented on, and we see the cold training grounds where a spy has to survive, alone. That is, for me, an ultra thriller. You have to understand the story, to be able to appreciate it. Those critics were so shallow they missed the point of the whole story. Don't believe them.

I haven't seen all Bourne movies, but I've seen the first one and this one. I just saw this movie a little more than a month ago. I haven't seen many movies with Jeremy Renner, but I still prefer Matt Damon as the more handsome Bourne. Jeremy is more rugged type of version, not that I don't like rugged style. Maybe I would get into him a little more with possible future Bourne movies. As far as the overall movie, I can say that it is entertaining, but it's not awesome. I could have just watch it on TV, rather than in a cinema. I happened to see The Dark Knight Rises after this one, which is certainly much better.

Matt Damon was superb as Jason Bourne, no doubt about that. But Jeremy Renner is also superb as Erin Cross, and his role was not easy. I like both actors and I like both characters, and if I am the script writer of the next movie, I would put the two together. Hey, did you notice Ed Norton?, gosh, he is so good an actor, too.

When I found out Ed Norton was playing antagonistic role, I thought this would be interesting. Somehow, I did not get the feel of him in that movie. Ed Norton has not had star power like many other actors (Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon), probably because of his look. The most memorable one is of course 'The Fight Club'. There is another one, which is American History X. I haven't seen this movie, but I know he was BUFF in there.
