Have you experienced it,your clothes was stolen in your own house?
Few year ago we experienced this kind of act.We used to hang our laundries in the terrace so it would really dried up well. But my brother's PE uniform was gone the next day,the fact that it was just newly bought that day and will wear the next day.We concluded that its was stolen cause there are some clothes were gone too. With that incident, we don;t leave any things outside the house. But as days and years past, the said incident happened again not until last few weeks.
One of our relative experienced it too.Last last week, some of their clothes that was stolen three times. Some are branded clothes which almost new.The last clothes stolen was her youngest daughter's undies, come to think that even under garment are being stolen. We get alarmed about it, so we don't leave any things outside the house the fact that my relative's house has already gate.
What happening in our world?
This kind of act is really alarming, so better be alert and safe all the time.

Hello there Ardoy. Oh, I think those are very terrible incidents. I also don't like it to happen to me because I really love buying some clothes and I treasure all of them. Maybe all of you there should just be careful whenever you need to wash your clothes. When you would like to leave them outside, be sure that you would always check them so others couldn't get them. You may also put a pet dog near the clotheslines so if someone would try to steal your clothes, at least you would be alarmed. Though I think maybe, it's just better if you wouldn't leave your clothes outside so they would be safe. You just use clothes drier so they would easily dry even though you might put them just inside. On the other hand, when you think drying them in sunlight is really good, you just bring them out but you should make sure you could guard them. :)
I think that already happened to me before. It happened to me few times. My clothes were only in my room. When I really needed to use them, I think I couldn't find them anymore. I think my clothes were gotten by some nannies. The first time I experienced that was when I was a college student. At first, I really didn't know that some of my clothes were missing. Then, my sister went to my nephew's nanny's residence to call her again to work in our home. When she got out of the house, she was wearing my favorite blouse and tattered short pants. My sister asked me if I gave those to her and I said I didn't.
The last time I lost some of my clothes was maybe two years ago. I really loved two of my blouses that I just bought. I really planned to wear them during my boyfriend's graduation but when I looked for them already, they were both gone. I just didn't know who got them. I was not sure of it but I think it was another nanny who came to be my roommate. We shared the same room that time. I think I really don't like that to happen again. I am now more careful than before. I think we should all be careful with these kinds of people. You're right in what you've said, we should better be alert because we don't know when these bad people would do this undesirable act of stealing our beloved clothes. Anyway, happy myLotting to you. :)

It's good that you already have a puppy right now. It will really be of great help to you especially when it would already become bigger. I also hope that those people would think about us. We are victims of their bad actions. You're right, we really work hard in order for us to buy those clothes and it's just easy for them to steal some of them. I hope that they would just work hard so they could buy their own clothes too. If they are selling some of the clothes they get from us, they should just look for other jobs, even the simple ones that would serve as their source of income. If they couldn't look for some jobs, maybe, they should just work hark so they would have something to eat. There are still a lot of ways to do in order for them to live a happy life in this world. I think it's better for them to have simple lives than having some guilt because of what they are doing. It's really wrong in the eyes of people and in the eyes of God. They shouldn't get what we worked hard for. I hope that they wouldn't do this bad action again. I just hope that they would already change this bad habit of theirs so they would also have a cleaner conscience. They should do some other activities, not stealing others' clothes and belongings. Have a happy Friday to you. :)

We do have a pet puppy now that eventually could help when it grows.
I do hope that those people would realized that we don't just get those clothes instantly. It is fruit of our labor and hardship in life yet they will just get it easily.
People now are somehow desperate maybe due to difficulties that they are going through in life.

One of my sisters ever lost her beautiful clothes from inside the hostel. It is really hard to discovered back those clothes because until now she was still puzzled at who is so daring to steal her clothes. It is really hard to know who is that person because hostel have too many students sharing at the same room.

I have experienced clothes being stolen when I was studying in college, and staying outside with a group of female friends. It was quite a bad experience, as our under garments and some clothes were stolen. The clothes are not new and expensive. We were quite worried, as only a few girls were staying in the house. After our clothes were being stolen, we decided to hang our clothes in the house at night. And the next year, we moved to another bigger house, with a few more guys. We didn't feel safe to stay with only girls, perhaps some perverts have been stalking us. Since then, I didn't dare to stay with girls only.

Ardoy, my former home was no exception to losing of clothes. We had lost a few clothes including undies without any trace. It had been a few times, when we dry new t-shirts and undies, they are surely gone in the evening. There is a time when my sister wash and dry her branded clothes outside, to our surprise the clothes gone just after we had completed our lunch. My sister was very angry and sad that she brought home a puppy. We heard a few times the puppy bark whenever we are having lunch. From that day onwards, we checked and discovered that no clothes gone missing. We are happy that at last we are at peace. Until now, we are still thinking at what that person are going to do to our stolen items especially those undies....

It is sad that some people are seems to be desperate that they even steal clothes of other people.
Just wondering if this was cause by poverty.
So sad that clothes that we work hard for to buy was just stole and lose instantly.
My God guide them to right direction in life.

I agree Ardoy maybe the person that stole the undies had some perv mentality . Its hard to know you work to get what you want and someone have the nerve to steal them even in daylight .
Myfb Good thing you now have a puppy , that is why thief hate dogs .

I actually don't think that there is anything that we can have today that would never be stolen by another person. The reason that I think that this is the case is because of the hard economic times that we are living in right now. There are far too many people that simply are not able to meet their basic needs for life and because of that they will, unfortunately, stoop to the level of stealing those things that they are not able to afford.

We live on a first floor and dry our clothes in the balcony. Luckily, we never experienced any such thing. My uncle, auntie and their family live on the ground floor and they dry their clothes in a porch. They also never faced any such incident. May be you all wear branded clothes and the robber also likes those brands. People stealing clothes sounds really funny and weird, but yes you are right if any such thing is happening people should become careful about it.

What the....?
Yah, I've heard such incident.
But, I just can't imagine how people steal clothes from someone's backyard.
I am sure these people are too desperate and they know how to choose the new ones.
Maybe they're selling those stolen new clothes.

People in our apt building open the dryers and everything, it's just awful! We dry our clothes in our flat (hang them up) but even still, I have had my undies stolen, I had knitten dishcloths stolen, and I think recently a good pair of denim shorts in the last 2 weeks, it feels like we're violated. Hubby tries to keep on top of things though, he goes back to the laundry room at exactly 20 minutes after the washer starts, so that's all we can do. He doesn't want me in the laundry room because I got into a fight with a lady a few years ago, and it escalated in the halway where the superintendent had to calm us down. It's brutal.
Sorry for the rant it just hit a raw nerve with me...glad you posted this discussion.

It is really shocking and annoying that eve our clothes which is too personal are even steal by those people. It never come across in my mind that clothes that was just hang in the backyard could be a victim of this act.
Those people should realize and have the guts to work hard too as we did to buy those clothes.

I used to hang out clothes in the backyard and nothing was stolen ever, honestly didn't think about it. Do you have a gate? If they get through it or climb through the fence, it's more than scary. But even if they can step there from the street, it's so mean. These thieves know more than anyone which clothes are branded and can be sold easily. Be careful

We used to hang our clothes in our backyard to dry it up and no idea that someone would steal it the fact that we know all of our neighbors.
We can't really say what's gonna happen once we go out in our house so better to be aware, alert and prepare all the time for our own security and safety.

There are a lot of crimes that are happening nowadays, all kinds of sorts, done to innocent victims. Others are heinous and others are petty ones. I had the same experience, losing some of my favorite pants. That's why I always make it sure that I clear our laundry room every end of the day, because that room is open and accessible because it is located at our backyard. Let's find a way to protect our property no matter how big or small the valuse it is. Thanks

Yeah protecting our property in our own little ways would be great for us to be not sorry in the end.Sometimes even the little things that we have are not safe to those people who have the guts to do such kind of bad act.

I have to read it twice, the part about undies being stolen. I was like, really? Wow, I've never experienced this and frankly I don't really want to ever. My clothes are too personal for me and most of them have sentimental value. Plus, most of them are stuff that I cannot find anymore, especially the way they fit me.

Clothes are really too personal, we can't even just any let it borrowed sometimes so it is really shocking that some people tend to stole it even in our own backyard.
Due to what happened, we don't leave any thing outside the house when the night comes.
