In gay and Lesbian marriege: who surname they follow?

I am so confuse and curious to know since in a normal marriages the woman get the surname of their husband after marriage. What about when it comes to gay and lesbian marriage. They are both the same gender. I wonder who surname they follow, no offense, and in marriage vow when the minister say "I pronounce you now as .......? Don;t know..Could you help me. Thanks
