Were you happy or disappointed that Shane died?

To those who have seen all of the episodes of The Walking Dead so far and know that Rick kills his best friend Shane, are you happy that Shane is dead or disappointed that he did? I have mixed feelings when it comes to Shane's death. In one point I am happy he is dead cause he did try to kill Rick and ends the drama on who is the better protector for Lori and Carl and that baby could be his. Basically he did became a psychopath. Of course I'm disappointed cause I really like his character. He could have been the better leader than Rick in some ways when it comes to surviving. Even a better protector and maybe a father to Carl, since Rick is always on a mission instead of staying with his family and Shane has proved a lot of times on being able to protect Lori and Carl while Rick was out in a mission. Even Carl felt comfortable confessing things to him than his own father and mother. I'm curious what you guys think about Shane's death.
