I usually don't like shopping when there's a big sale. I hate crowded malls and waiting in a very long queue. But tomorrow, we're heading out to the mall for it's first day of the three day sale. I must because I have to go shopping for new shoes and my son's clothes. My mother-in-law who is a shopaholic is arriving from New Jersey tomorrow and i'm pretty sure she would ask me to go shopping with her. So, I'm sleeping early tonight because tomorrow is a big shopping day for us. Don't you find it a burden to go shopping on a big sale day?

Hi friend, good to know you are going for a big shopping tomorrow, as you mentioned it is really hard to go shopping on this kind of great offers due to the crowd, but we can save a lot with this kind of shopping. Wish you to enjoy a lot with your shopping, don't forget to create a topic about your shopping experience

Hello! I had fun shopping with my mother-in-law. I just bought necessary things. I bought a luggage for my travel and I bought a dress that my mother-in-law thinks is perfect for my figure. It was a bargain at 70% off so I didn't hesitate on getting that dress.

Burden indeed! But, big sales helps us save a lot. I'm no fan of big sales since just like you, I hate waiting in long queue also plus I just can't spend too much money. hehehehe! :) I'm on a tight budget! I hope you'll have fun tomorrow with your mother-in-law! :)

I just hope all the troubles will be worth it. I'm very picky when it comes to shopping and I usually go for quality than the price. I just hope that I could get the shoes that I like at 50% the most.

Oh i am so envious of your would be shopping spree with your mother-in-law. well, it's really a hassle3 to be with many people, but it is enjoyable, because you are joining their frenzy of buying things at its cheapest. Good luck Toni on your shopping. May you get the most discounts.

Thanks D! I think I would be getting only 10-20% discounts. Hope I could land a 50% on my favorite Italian shoe shop.

Wow! Where is that? I find shopping a bit of burden for my feet. But when I have money to buy all I want, and they're all on sale, that wouldn't bother me at all. Though there are times, you will really hate the crowd and the long queue on cashier. But still, when the discounts are big, that's not much to worry about. Good luck on your big shopping day tomorrow!

It's in SM City Iloilo. I won't be going in the department store though because I really don't like waiting in a very long queue. I'll just go to the different shops inside the mall. and buy from there.

Every time i feel excited when i heard the big sale day. I will go there and find somethings that i will not buy on the usual day coz it is cheap and lovely. The bad thing is that there are loads of people which i do not like, but adjust myself, i still have a nice shopping.

Right. I avoided the department store because there were too many people there. Instead, I went to the stores in the mall and got what i wanted.

I generally avoid shopping malls; I don't think that I've been inside any in about a year or so. I usually go to small local stores and farmers' markets for stuff. I'm not much for most national chains; although, we do frequent one for my boyfriend's clothing, since finding small, local stores around here that carry nice, reasonably priced men's clothing is difficult. I have found no reason to have any great moral qualms about shopping that particular chain, however.

I don't like local chains here. They're situated in the far side of the street which has no parking space and worst, robbers are hovering around. Plus the fact that they're not air-conditioned! The best stuff that I could find are all in the shopping malls so that's where I go.

I also don't like shopping when there's a big sale. First of all, I really hate the crowd. I can't walk in peace. I always have to walk then move my body sideways, be cautious not to bump anyone, and so on. It's not a good stroll on the mall. Oh, and yes, the long lines... Our family is the opposite, we'd want to know if there are any malls that are holding their 3-day weekend sales so we could avoid them. There are times when we get to a mall and didn't know they were having a sale. It's a bummer because of the bulk of people and traffic but when we get inside, we just try to enjoy it and sometimes get lucky to see some bargains of things we really like. But to intentionally go to a mall during sale, only on rare occasions.

Me too. I try to avoid them. I just took advantage of it this season because i'm leaving and I need to buy a luggage and some stuff for my travel. Anyway, I didn't get into the department store but instead, i shopped at the stores that has less people in them.

I love shopping most of the time, and I like to get a good bargain, but for me it very much depends on the way that the shops arrange their sales. I like the ones that arrange them in size order as it means that you can just look on your size rack and see right away if there is anything there that interests you. I don't like it when everything is just thrown onto the same stand and you have to look through everything to see if there is anything, so I don't bother going into a store if it looks as though that is what I am going to have to do.

Where is it? hehe. I like Big sale but I acrtually seldom plan on going big sales days; I prefer digging sales here and there whereever I see. I also don't like the crowds either.

It's one of the biggest shopping mall in my city. It happens quarterly. I'm just taking advantage of it since i'll be leaving the country soon.

Well, assuming it's not me that I do the shop in the family, I'm not very interested in the fact that when the products are sold in stores at lower prices. My mom instead he jumps headlong, when they begin the end of season sales, especially in the field of clothing. Seem strange and I am almost ashamed to say it, but even if I already have 37 years, it is still my mother buys clothes for me! If anything I'm interested in the electronics and information technology. However, I agree with your idea, in the sense that I would absolutely not like to go shopping when the shops and department stores are too crowded.

Dear friend, Men usually don't like shopping at all. You're still living with your parents so i do understand why your mom still has to do the shopping for you.

I love shopping, but I hate crowds. I tend to feel claustrophobic, plus the wails and yells of young kids running around the place, the cranky and tired sales personnel...I don't like the picture at all! I do want to go on sale but I try to avoid mall-wide sales because that's when a big traffic of crowd surges on. I just usually go to individual stores who decided to put a sale on their own.

I don't find it a big burden at all..I actually do like to go shopping even on a busy day.. My only gripe about shopping on a busy is trying to find a parking spot...

I've never actually done this. I know it seems like madness and people sometimes get killed in situation like these but I would actually like to experience something like this. Kinda seems like a rush lol. Plus on these days you score the BIGGEST deals ever so I really wouldn't mind it

Not in here, people don't get killed for that. this sale happens quarterly and there are three big shopping malls that do that. It's the department stores that are crowded and not really the stores inside the mall. So, I'll be avoiding the department store.

i am like you, i hate crowds and our best sale day is Boxing Day and though it is a stat holiday here in Canada, the stores are open and the big sales begin. its pretty chaotic but sometimes we do actually go. i find that even shopping on saturdays at the mall crazy because there are so many people who shop for a hobby or because they are bored , especially now that the cooler weather is upon us. winter will soon be here and the mall will even be busier (especially with Christmas just around the corner.)

I've always shopped in an airconditioned mall. Can't imagine walking from shop to shop either and they're not air-conditioned. Considering that we are living in a tropical country, i can't seem to stand the heat plus the crowd.
