I am petsitting the next 3 weekends!

She had emailed me last week asking about this weekend, I had said I could. She just sent me an email confirming and I will be petsitting the following 2 weekends as well. This means $210 in my pocket more than expected.

Lucky you. I think that a job which involves animals is really, really fun. By the way, what kind of pet are you going to take care of? And what are your responsibilities as a pet sitter?

I petsit currently for 3 dogs, and I will do almost all animals but snakes, rats, and so on. I usually feed them, let them out, take them for a walk, and just spend time with them.

I feel really jealous right now. I do hope not those too big dogs. They are quite hard to walk altogether. Like my black labrador who walks me instead of I walk him. Do you get paid per hour or per day? And how much is your rate? Sorry for asking too much. I'm really intrigued.

I really enjoy spending time with the animals and myself. I miss the brats thought especially if it's long periods of time.

It's so nice that you can find the petsitting job, if you like pets, I think you'll really enjoy the work. I'd prefer someone taking care of my dog when I'm not around, rather than sending her to the pet hotel/clinic.

Most dont like it either, and I find many lock them in cages and leave them. I found one local which to treat them good. But again most like to keep their animals in their own house.

That's great!!! Too bad you don't live near me, you could pet sit my crew! You would have a living ball with all the crazies! I love getting a bit more than expected, it is like found money and I try to give myself a treat from the extra. Unfortunately the past few times hasn't been the way I want, but it encourages me to save towards the extra goody that I want. Of course I don't mind paying a bill out of the extra either...It is so nice getting my bills caught up which have been a real trial because they were run up when my daughter and son in law and their family stayed with me for the 9 months. In a few more months I will be totally caught up and not having to worry so much about the bills. Congratulations on the extra work and extra money.

That certainly is great that you are going to make more money once again than you were budgeting for. As an inquiring mind, I would love to know how you do your petsitting services? I know that a friend of mine has a pet sitting business where she will visit with the animals that she is caring for three times a day to let them outside, feed them, clean up any of their messes and just check on there general well being. She makes 50 dollars a day per family to do this. Have you ever carried for the animals of more than one family at the same time.

this lady sure does travel a lot! lucky you, you get to chill and get paid for it. my daughter actually dog sat for a week and got $60. it was a good way for her to make some cash which she used towards her laptop.

That sounds really nice for you. What pets are you petsitting? I wish I could find a job like that over here especially with the free time I have on my hands. Unfortunately babysitting or petsitting isn't very popular in the country I live in. Would be nice to earn $100 in a weekend.
