i am a member of the church of jesus chris and i think that people are denying the existence of jesus chris when they say mormonsimn is false doctorine.you have to consider that fact that the bible tells us (or christians) that god is the same today and yesterday, yet did he not perform many miricles with in the bible?
did his son not heal the sick and afflicted and also cast out devils ? where there not prophets then ? so how could these things not happend now ? we really need a prohpet from god we need some one to give us hope and assurance of the future and we need morals and i belive we do have a prohpet on the earth today . if god is not the same today, yesterday and tomorow then the bible is a lie , and if it is a lie then god is not so and if god is not so then we are not so. you see ?

I am a member of the LDS church. My opinion is to go to the source in order to make your decision about what we believe. There is a lot of nonsense on the internet that isn't true. I am constantly amazed about the number of people that have misunderstandings about our basic doctrines. The official church website, www.lds.org, is a good place to start. To learn more about our basic beliefs you can also go to www.mormon.org. If you're looking for scholarly information concerning our doctrine, books by Richard Lyman Bushman are usually pretty good. He is Harvard educated member of the church whose non-religious and religious historical writings are well respected by people inside and outside of the church. As a practicing Mormon, I have a positive opinion of the church. However, my opinion about my religion, and any other religion, is that anything that helps you be a better person, progress, and treat others more kindly, is generally a good thing. I feel my membership in the LDS church helps me be a better person. If you have specific questions about the church, I'd love to be of service.
