Anyone sell on Ebay to have someone bid on your item and then not pay?

I've had pretty good luck on Ebay selling items however this last month someone bid on some baby clothes I posted on there and then never paid. I opened a case for it on their website and ended up reposting the item. It says to contact the buyer and try to resolve it. I emailed them 3 times and they never responded. I always wonder what happened with that person if they just couldn't afford it, changed their mind or what. It's just frustrating that they don't respond.

Hi..My buyers on Ebay are usually pretty good..But there was one buyer who didn't pay me..I gave her at least a three to four weeks before i reported it to Ebay..I gave her lots of chances to pay me before i reported. She now has a strike on her account..It's really bothersome when people bid on a product then they don't pay but but they don't even contact you..I had another buyer over a month ago about a purchase she made but retracted her bid..At least she contacted me for it..Some times mistakes happen but i don't appreciate irresponsible, dishonest people..

Thats a shame , maybe something happen to the buyer in their personal life . Sometime the buyers is new have no clue of what they were doing just like pressing buttons

Unfortunately things happen like that on Ebay. I have been a buyer and seller on Ebay for about 10 years and that has happened to me once. I did exactly what you did, opened a case, waited a specific amount of time, and re-listed the item. Then after 3 weeks they decided to pay, HAH! I refused the payment on Paypal and nothing happened after that.
Just do what Ebay wants you to do and then let it go on auction again. There is nothing these people can do about it as you did your best. I think Ebay gives them about 2 weeks or 14 days to either contact you or pay for it. If not, it's their tough luck.
It would be better if they would just tell you...that would just make things easier and you can go about your merry way. It's hard when you don't hear anything.
I think sometimes people actually end up in the hospital, die, or have troubles of some sorts so I do give it some time. After that, it's up for grabs again.

Hi,
Good thing you have not sent the item in the first place. It would be hard time recalling them. Maybe, there's a change in plans or the person is playing on a bidding game with no intention of having to pay for the item. Hard luck this time.

you can always go in and block that particular buyer. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it is something.
