Last week when they showed the promos for this week with Tim's comments, you couldn't see who he was talking to. Tonight during the critique we finally found out that his "homage" comment had been said to Ven. I imagined that women all over the planet (and some men) were cheering after Ven's horrible treatment toward his client recently during the makeover challenge.
It's still hard to believe that Tim said what he said, but it was kind poetic justice that it was said to Ven. It was also nice to see Dmitry win a challenge finally. I firmly believe that Dmitry will be going to fashion week and voted for him tonight in the fan fave.
Who do you like best?

First of all, I have to admit that I haven't watched tonight's episode yet, but I do have it on DVR so I will be watching it later. This means that when I give my opinion about who I like, I will not know who was kicked off of the show tonight.
With that said, I have to say that I lost all respect that I might have had for Ven when he was making the comments to his client like he was when they were doing the challenge with the makeovers. First of all, yes, the woman was not a stick figure, but she wasn't obese either. In fact, I wouldn't even have really considered the woman to have been a plus size.
I really like Gunnar simply because of the fact that he is from the same town where I went to college and I do think that he has made some beautiful clothing during this season. I also liked Alicia because she was from Kentucky as well and I really liked her unique point of view, but she's gone home now.

Now that you have had a chance to watch, I'm sure you were sorry to see Gunnar go. I think he was just a little "immature" still as a designer and didn't quite know who he was yet. He had good ideas, but the execution and the sophistication level wasn't always there. If he had stepped up his game it would have been VEN going home last night!
I know you shouldn't cheer when someone experiences any kind of setback, but Ven really needed that reality check. He's obviously only ever been surrounded by people (most likely family) telling him he was wonderful his whole life.
