4 of the discussions stared by me are 0 respond, include the one I just stared. I feel a little lose for this, I admit that I come here was looking for earn a little money at first. But today, after 4 years, I come back just for I can find some friends to share both my joy and annoyance, other thing I don't care more. Maybe, my disucssions was too boring to arouse people's interest.

hi friend..,
you don't think so.. It will happen like that in the first time. don't worry. I also have such experiences. But you don't think like that. You just try to start a discussion, in that you can ask some question in clearly... If mylotters can understand that, they will sure respond to your discussion...
Happy mylotting..

You don't feel bad. Now I think you will notice it. You got some more responds to this discussion. Like this you want to attract people while giving a good title.

I don't think it has something to do with whether your discussion is boring or not. Sometimes discussion involve questions and some questions are too difficult to answer so people didn't bother trying.

I didn't notice the discussion started by me is difficult to answer or not, just when something I met in actual life make me got feeling, then I published on. And my English expression is not so good, I will pay more attention to this point, try to use more simply words, so that everyone here can understand easily.

hey.., We are not telling that, 'the discussion is started by you are difficult'. If we do so, no one will interest to answer to your question. And if we use easy words, people will understand that easily.
These are the points.
Happy mylotting.

Maybe you need to spend some time looking over the site. See what discussions get the most responses(look in the 'Hot' under discussions. Its the eighth one. Or even the first one for that matter. See what is of interest to Mylotters and then start discussions with that in mind. Happy Mylotting!

When you start a new discussion do you add tags to it? This is how many people will find your discussion. Do you have many friends my myLot? Many people are good about reciprocating so maybe when you start a discussion you should go to the no responses pages and respond to several of those discussions.

Just be sure you keep your tags short. Use only one word or a two-word phrase.

Hello cmy1004f,
Never feel for that.. Enjoy responding discussions. I am doing the same here nowadays. Previously I too had some 60 to 70 responses for my discussions. Later on, it started decreasing and hence I concentrated on responding to discussions. Only thing here is activeness. If you wanna earn money be active, if you want to earn friends be active, if you want to share be active.... No discussion here are boring.. If it is boring for me will be intersting to someone... Hence don't give up.
It is simple, but addictive. Hope you enjoy myLot. Just take a walkthrough all the discussions you have missed in these four years and start responding. It is fun.
Have a great day.
Cheers.

I don't want to think if I could earn some money here more, if I earn, I will look as a surprise, if not, I also earn new friends and chance of improve English here. Anyway, the most importnat thing is enjoy the fun.

I really agree with Phillip_shiny. If some discussion is bore to someone, it could be interest to another one. I liked that sentence very much.
Once I also thought like Cmy. But now I don't think so.

If I am not making any mistake, then perhaps this the first discussion from you that I am responding to.And it's not boring.Instead,it is really a nice one.Your English is good and so is your presentation. It's really an interesting discussion.Don't think so.However it is me who should say his discussions are boring.Otherwise they would have initiated a good number of responses.I have initiated only a few discussions, and barring one of them, none of them could extract satisfactory number of responses.

Thanks for your appreciation and encouragement, as well as I don't make any mistake, this is indeed your first respond of my discussions. I think my English skill still have large space to improve, so I should practice more, till someday I don't feel hard to stard discussion any more, then prove I have progress in this field. It also can be able to express my feelings more clearly, so that I can find more friends are resonance with me.

Sometimes people don't respond to those discussions that have already been discussed anymore. That's one. So use the the search engine to see if there has been a topic that has been discussed already. Secondly, I personally respond to those discussions that are too long or too personal or just because I couldn't relate to it. I seldom respond to those discussions that are merely questions. I try to avoid discussions that I think are in violation of the mylot guidelines.
These are just my personal opinion.

Actually, I the kind of person which lack of assetive, when something need to decide, or make a choice. I always avoid and find other incharge for me. Perhaps for this, I often start the discussions mostly I don't know how to deal with, and then hoep someone here can give me good advice to slove.

I hardly start a discussion because I had many things in my head but I hesitate to write them down. I prefer answer to discussions start y fellow mylotters, like you here. Maybe it's not a boring thing, maybe you just didn't write them in an interesting way. Don't give up, keep trying and good luck.

So do I, start a discussion is not easy, the thinking seems full of my head, but when I put my figures on the keyboard, I don't know how to start! Also for my poor English, it is hard to write down all my think and feeling, and the reader also very hard to understand what I want to say. So I should work harder, good luck and effort always inseparable after all.

Hi cmy1004f, I used to be bothered too if some of my discussion isn't getting any response. But then I realized that although some of my discussions isn't getting an instant response from other people, in time it will pick up. Don't be sad, cheer up, and happy myLotting to you

Nice to meet you, you are right, just like me, when I get the feeling then start a discussion, after then when I saw most time feeling will be difficent. The same to others here, even if they have no interesting with my discussion at first, but maybe they will have afterward. So I just try best to publish more high-quality discussins and responds.

Don't be too down, it really happens. I even have more unanswered discussions than you, lol! There could be a lot of reasons why your some of your discussions are not answered, and not only because it's boring. Sometimes, very few people can relate, or unsure, or they themselves do not know. Sometimes though, they cannot understand. But that's okay, Just try and try again. You'll see that the more you interact by answering some discussions and continue posting your own, you will finally get the hang of it.
Good luck!

Thank you for comfort, as long as I can vent my emotions is enough. Maybe I should read more discussions which started by others, so I can understand their interest here and start more discussions that can cause others' interest. Just like I was lack of initiative in real life, always waiting for others close to me. I should change this way from here, read more discussions from others, and then try to respond more, for close to everyone here.

Don't let it make you down....I'm a new member here too so I don't really have many discussion started by me. But I think that sometimes happen if you have 0 replies it doesn't mean that your topic is boring, maybe someone that happen to be interested to your topic hasn't notice the discussion started by you in right time, I've responded to new discussion that I found here, and there's a chance that I've not noticed a discussion that particulary interest me because it has been posted on another day when I am not online, that's what I think ^^. Although I'm not sure how the whole thing at mylot work yet ^^;

Dear randomarts09 and ladyhemingway, at first nice to meet you here, then I want to say what you said reminded me that I had been avoided jet lag. When I posted discussions at home after work, many friends here may be busy at work and have no time browse here, and my discussions already sank when they were free. And there may be more reasons that I didn't notice make discussions of 0 reply appear, I am too subjective.

Hi randomarts09, I have to agree with you. There are some discussions here on myLot which is really interesting for me but I didn't get to respond to it right away because I am not online the day it was posted. That is why I make it a point to browse through different discussions so that I may not missed those who were posted days ago while I am not around.

Hi cmy! We should not feel sorry for ourselves as we came here for some purposes. If you think that your discussions were not interesting to others, maybe because they just have other interest and not because your topic is a boring one. Don't stop learning by reading articles from other writers and other discussions herein. This way, you can learn the basic of writing and the language itself, especially the grammar. Try to add more friends also as they can help you if you have some problems. You can also attract the attention of the readers if you have a catchy title and they will be encourage to make a response to your discussion. Have a nice day!

Hi!
I don't think the discussion you brought out is boring. To be frank with you, the problem is in your use of the English language. Stared means looked, gazed. Or what you mean to say is started by me. Started means to begin activity. If they cannot understand you clearly, definitely no one will bother to respond. Have a nice day!
