The thing that all people do not understand is the fact that there are things that money couldn't really buy. Even the people who claims intelligent and smart can't even have this kind of conviction. If they don't have that kind of mentality then at least the discrimination will be lessen.

I would not not say that everything is got from money, because love and affection from parents, brother, sister, lover cannot be bought by using money. But in this world now, most of the things are based on money. From the fact that you want food to eat, place to live and to have respect among the society, the more money you have, the more comfortable and happy you are with.Even though yo can be contended with little money you have and the love of parents and wife/lover,sometimes,we need people in the society for several reasons. For that, mostly we get respect from the base built upon money. We can say that id we do noble deeds without expecting any money from them,we can get the respect we need from the society. But in order to do the needs,we must first have the money ourselves. This is how our world is built upon money.

Of course money isn't everything, but certainly it helps!!! In this day and age, it seems one cannot have anything without money. A roof over their head, food, clothes . . . all the basic necessities require having money. Love, happiness, health and all that good stuff can be "everything" . . . but those alone do not bring food to the table. Hard to say what is everything, eh?

Not really everything but it's absolutely a very big thing
in our lives. Sure, money helps us in so many things and in
so many ways. But there are still things that money can't
buy like relationships. We can't always have good relationships
with our parents, brother or sisters, other relatives, and with
colleagues. Money can't always buy people (some people can be bought
by money but not everyone). So yeah, it's a very big thing but
not generally everything.

Money is nice because with it you can have a nice easy life and be comfortable but I place good health above money anyday if you have good health and lots of love you are truly rich

Money is merely a tool to be used to live a good life, both physically and spiritual. I use money to feed, clothe and shelter myself and my family, to help others who are not as blessed as I am and to try to bring comfort to the injured. I live a comfortable life but any money I don't need is given away. My needs include saving some of my income so that I'm not a burden to others in my old age.
One thing that people do not realize is that we can live without money but we can't live without love or good health. That is one reason the poorest people are often the happiest--they have love and family support even if they have little money. While some of the wealthiest are wondering what is missing from their lives and they spend and spend in an effort to get it, they don't realize that a simple life focused on people instead of things is the most satisfying.
There are many wealthy people who use their money for the good of others. John Huntsman, for example, vows to die broke and spends his money building a cancer hospital to provide free treatment for cancer patients. Other wealthy people like Bill Gates spend it to vaccinate children all over the world. There are good and bad ways to use money. How we use it determines our happiness.

A pleasant day Tushavi,
Honestly speaking, earning a dollar for me is very important. Especially now that I am not earning that high. But, this does not mean, its an everything for me.

no, money is very helpful and important but it is not everything, if we want to have a good life and get something we want, we always need money, but we also have something is more important than money, such as dreams, health and so on. if some one only has money, then his life is boring and no funny, money can help us live better and also can help us achieve our dream and get something really cool, but it should not be everything in our life

hey friend,
no , money is not everything but yet it is something . we cant get everything with money example love , respect but we can buy material objects which could give us little happiness for sometime but not true love and relations .
this is something that should be in limits ,it cause problems if exceeds that limit or less than a certain limit. thanks.

Well yeah, it's nice to have much money, at least you can buy everything to make you comfortable and looks good and not to mention, even people will flock to you if you rich, you can have so much attention from people if you have much money (even though people like that won't be your real friends). And money does make everything in your life easier....
Though money is not everything, but it does make your life easier and more comfortable.

When i hear people say that money is the most important thing in life, the only thing I can do is smile at them. i dont blame them because they see you can buy anything with money. These days awards and recognition too comes with money. But peace of mind and happiness is never bought with it. have a clear conscience and you will be happy.

For me right now it's big. I believe what Suze Orman says, Money can't make you happy, mbut the lack of money can make you miserable. Anyone who doesn't have a savings account, or even better, if you can afford to start one, an IRA or mutual fund, you should start one. With a savings, what you do is what ever you make, you put some ofd it in a savings account every week. whatever you are living on, you can live on $50.00 less a week. That might mean eating out less, buying less clothes but if you find yourself out of a job you have a little time.

No definately not, I think it's important to make money through things you enjoy doing. I don't think money is everything, I remember someone telling me a story of someone who was a stockbroker and made lots of money but ended up switching careers and became a mailman. He absolutely loves what he does now. I think the most important thing is to be happy.
