You can't please everyone

Hey thanks for such a nice discussion. Very well pointed. We are not born on earth to impress or please anyone. We all have a life and we can live life in our terms without any outside interference. We should be good to all and help others. Now what others perceive is none of our business. We should continue to do good work and leave the rest on God. What say?

You're right! We can't please everyone. So I decided to stop trying to please anyone. I mean, I will do whatever I want as long as I stand for what I believe is right. My grandma once said, no matter how good or bad you are, people around you always have something bad to say. So the less you care, the less you get affected.

Hi Angelpink!!! Yeah its the universal truth, you cannot please everyone. May be we can please some people for some moment, but not forever. And yes, why worry then? And why feel sorry and neglected. Everyone have their own feelings and own perceptions of living. We cannot interfere. We cannot force someone to feel the way we want them to feel. The important thing is that we have to learn to be happy for the things as they are. We need not impress anyone, we are what we are. We should do what is desirable. No matter how deceiving the outer world is, the only thing that matters is self being honest and satisfied. Happy mylotting..

well.for sure,we are not god,and definitely we cannot please everyone .even you're prefect too much,but the other side,there are always some people talking something bad behind you.what i wanna say is to be yourself and leave those rumor alone!

Yes we can't please everyone, you're correct just ignore them. Just act naturally, do what you want to do, do it to impress yourself not to impress others.

Different people have different ideas.I agree with you .Just do the things that you think is right.

Good day Angelpink, Absolutely, pleasing everybody is very hard. Aside from the heartaches that it may bring, it can also bring you a bit of depression. Moreso, it will bring disappointment if you were not able to do what they are expecting from you.

Yes that is really true angel! I appreciate your outlook in life. But with my present job, it is a must that I have to go along with people, to think that I am not an outgoing type. Sometimes it is really hard for me but I have to deal with it. I have to because this is my line of job. So if ever I encounter some people who are hard to please, I would just shrugged a shoulder and think it s part of the job.

No one can be perfect,do not demand too much of myself ,otherwise will bu very tired,i think just be yourself ,to live the life of your loving way,do not think too much,the opinions of others is always someone else,think too much will only hurt myself ,but also try to take care of others ,do not be too selfish.

Very well said, not everyone will like you as there will always be haters and bashers. You just have to live with it. Show them that they can never win in making your life less happy.

Yes,we can't please every one and we don't need to. I just try my best to provide convinient for the people I love and the people who is loving me. It's stupid, useless and tiresome trying to please every one,especialy the one means nothing to you and to your life.

Hi Angelpink! You're correct.We really can't please everyone. No matter what we do even if we put our best into it someone may not appreciate it. Oh well! I don't mind. If they didn't care I don't care at all too! ;)

You're right. But sometimes it's hard to do, since my tendencies is to please others and looks good in front of others. Still I can't please everyone, it's just the way it is. But surely your tips is right and good to keep in the mind. I need to remind it to myself everytime too when I bothered about someone who don't like me or talking behind my back. I'm a kind of person who's really bothered by such things....I just wanted to be liked by everyone, and lead the calm / peaceful life without conflict with others...

Its a fact that we cannot please everyone. I face the situation at my office where its hard to satisfy too parties, my boss or my colleagues. But what I feel you work with a clear conscience and dont do anything that hurts anyone intentionally. Dont give unhealthy expectations about yourself to anyone. With these few things I think our life would be better.

yes you are right on this. It is just best to go on in your life as you always have, be yourself and hold to your personality, your thoughts and your own morals. No matter in your life what you do, someone will be unhappy and dislike how you live. Why let that get you down? I will always try to strive to be who I am and who I am meant to be. There is no one in the world who will ever see the things that I do or will experience the same things. I need to make this life my own.

yeah me too i don't like to impress people and we cannot impress everyone that is for sure. Just be yourself and be happy from within. hey friend, you are right at this point. we cant please even a single person completely . just think we have some family members and some friends also. it we start pleasing them and try to meet their expectation we cant live our life , they will not be satisfied for life. so , start living your live and try to get a good positions in life. seeing this your family will be proud of you. thanks. and all the best too....:)

I already know that I can't really please everyone, but still I want to look and do good infront of them. I don't really care if a person likes me or not but I don't do things that will make me fool infront of them ofcourse. Pleasing oneself is hard specially if the person that you are dealing with is really hard to please. I think I will just please the person whom I only love. But if the person doesn't have any significance in my life, I'll just drop it. :D

hey, I second thought, you can never please anyone no matter how much you have been doing for that person, just one mistake and all gone, Its better you should stay in your own, stay honest with your relationships, don't let others to see good in you, because when they see good they expect good adn beleive me you don't want to live up to anyone's expectations:).
