Facebook app invites. A go go! Or a no no!?

Oka’y I’ve posted this discussion to see some of your reactions towards your friends on facebook asking you to join any facebook app. Whether its games (well usually my friends are giving me these invites), quizzes, surveys, etc. on facebook.Do you find those invites annoying? Or you’re cool with that. For me personally, I don’t play games nor do facebook apps on my facebook account I’ve registered to the social networking sites to socialize “cyberly” with my friends so I find it annoying for some people on my friends list to give me invites to such apps. What’s your reaction towards FB apps?

I find the invites on facebook someanyiong as I don+t use my facebook for gameing, and some times more than 2/3 of the news page is filled up with game invites and all I want to do is know what my friends are doing outside of facebook not what animal they have found in animal farm or whatever.

Yes, definitely! i don't know why people on facebook are fond of inviting their friends on their friends list to some crap they are not interested in.It's totally pointless for giving such app invites.

I used to play some of the games and things on there when I would get invites from my friends but I started getting obsessed with some of them and they were just taking up way too much of my time! So now I just play one game, words with friends which is fun.

Hello glad that you only have one game to play on facebook. unfortunately, i've never been hooked to playing games on the internet. it's not my kind of thing. So, most app invites i received i delete them right away.

I get fed up of getting all those things sent to me by friends and tpo be honest I like to play games on another site, so why keep getting all these apps, as I would never use any of them.
My husband plays a few war games on face book, but I never do, I do get annoyed when the same people keep sending me the same games to play on, plus all the other games that they are playing.

Yes, it's annoying sometimes where you have some friends on your fb friends lists who are hooked on playing apps or having apps on their facebook and wants you to be part of their addiction. which is totally not in my taste of amusement. Thank you for your reply!
